Ok, again, there is no door. This is a walkway at the very top of a huge cylindrical chamber.

That's the seal- the cylinder closes around the entire walkway. When you hit the button, the seal closes, the cylinder retracts, and you are left on a walkway again.

ok...so i then press the button, wait for the cylinder tor etract, and run towards where i came from..towards where the others are..

Ok, again, a question of orientation. You are atop an exposed walkway no more than twenty feet long at the top of the structure. The way on, technically, is by equally exposed ladder down to the next level.

yes, the ladder i went down on, to check what that noise was. i assume that that level connects with the rest of the whole building, giving me a way to reach the others

Yes. One prlblem- clambering down a ladder is not really a high-speed escape. You have a few seconds over that mean ol' Master, at best.

TAkuan concentrates hard on grabbing Marcus' and saar's sabers and throw them off the walkway (down to..wherever..just away from the walk way). Technically i should be able to grab his saber from where he keeps it...with him blinded and surprised, etc. 🙂
He then draws his own into his hand but doesn't ignite it

He's blinded, not stupid. He's a JEDI- he doesn't need to see and he can stop you pulling his sabre just as if he could see perfectly. So feel free to make an aggressive move on him, but I thought that is what you wanted to avoid?

Takuan quickly pushes the button with the force and hurries to the edge of the walkway and jumps overboard, to the lower level. The enxiety of the whole situation helps him to concentrate on gathering the force around him, to ease his fall and absorb the shock.
