"30 minutes," says Kuylen. "Sharp. Make your final preparations."

Being already prepared, I simply mill around, uncomfortably tense.

Galder grabs his weaponry, putting the twin machine pistols and twin droid blasters into their holsters at his waist, tossing aside his blaster pistols and putting the machine pistols in their place. After putting on bandoliers covered in bastic warhead bullets and gas cartridges for his blasters, he swings his plasmathrower over his back. He puts some grenades at his belt. He also slides his red and blue lightsabers into his cybernetic arm's saber compartment. He throws Persis' lightsaber into the spare sabers box. He carries in his hands his multipurpose rifle, a seeker rocket loaded at the front and a fresh gas cartridge loaded into it.

He also grabs his valuable belongings. His father's destroyed lightsaber and a blood-caked, tattered piece of his father's Jedi robes. He puts them in his pouch at his belt.

"I am ready, Kuylen," Galder says, walking up to him covered in his weaponry.

"Then get on board," says Kuylen. "We are powering up the ship."

Jolanta is wiring up things to the computer systems.

"Last chance if yoiu want to use these things..." she says, There is a muffled boom in the background as the armoury goes up.

"Make a copy of the files before you blow em up," Galder suggests, marching onto the freighter.

Rah sedately gets on board keeping fairly quiet for now...

(right i'm off see you in a week 😄 )

(ok, that was interesting. Takuan has everything he needs on him. The grenades belt and his saber and spare saber)
"now that all of this is over" says takuan talking to saar "what did you want to talk about?"

"I'll talk to you on the ship," says Saar

-

Just to confirm- in case there is any doubt- Kuylen doesn't go around slicing arms just to help you practice, Chion and Saar are not in league, Saar can't do ligntning and no-one lost any limbs...

The computerts ignite and spark as the EMP spike runs through them. The lights in the base flicker and die, and the heating system shuts down.

"That's that then," says Kuylen. "We go."

The freighter only barely fits into the hangar but the take off is smooth. The entire cargo space is carrying spare fuel with which you will perform a mid-way refuelling with as needed- not an easy operation. The freighter lifts out of the hangar and you leave the base, and soon after Dordellus, probably forever.

The birght blue sky turns to black and a field of stars.

"Co-ordinates locked," says Saar, operating the ship. "For better or worse we are ready to go."

"Take us out," says Kuylen.

The stars streak, and your ship glides smoothy into hyperspace...

-

Well, it is going to be a long journey... relatively speaking, anyway. Chion is rather obviously not talking to anyone, though that is not unusual. Jolanta is playing games in her cabin; Kuylen sits thoughtfully in the cockpit most of the time whilst Saar is continually checking if things are ok.

"Ah, Takuan," he says, seeing you the next day. "As I was saying before, I could not help overhearing what you said to Kuylen back on Dordellus..."

"right..well....i didn't necessarily want to keep it a secret, but i thought not to busy everyone with it. I only told kuylen to see what he has to say about it. so....what about it?"

Galder walks in and sits next to Kuylen.

"Yesterday you were telling me about how you fell to the Dark-Side," Galder says, starting conversation. "You didn't finish because we needed to get a move on. Care to finish it now, since we aren't doing anything?"

I come in and sit down. "Yeah, Kuylen, I still know very little about you."

"Right now I am planning," says Kuylen. "Our moves upon arriving will need to be very precise."

He looks at you two.

"You are both warriors," he says. "Have you ever been leaders of men?"

-

"What about it? Tell me EVERYTHING about it..." says Saar.

"Once, just once. One of my mercenary jobs. I was hired to wipe out rival faction of Napolla the Hutt on Nal Hutta, and she supplied me with fifty men. I led them into combat against the security men of Gargon the Hutt, and we were victorious. I got my 50,000 credits and a choice of dangerous weaponry, and went on my way. Napolla tried to get me to work for her again, but it didn't turn out as planned. Assassination attempt, me running, and the rest is history."

"I see," says Kuylen. "And do you think you could lead men who are motivated by something other than mercenary money?"

"Maybe. It said in my dad's journal that he helped liberate a planet from a dictatorship, stirring up the local militia, but then again, he was a Jedi..." Galder says. "But if my father could do it, I'm sure I could."

"I have always worked alone. Before now, I have always thought of others as just a liability."

"Depends on the situation, though, doesn't it, Dak?" Galder says.

"Well," says Kuylen. He thinks for a moment.

"When we invade the Republic, we will need to do so at the head of armies. I will need to decide who else other than me gets to command them, you see."

"I would not suggest myself, Kuylen. That is not the sort of job I am suited for."

"Very well," says Kuylen. "Galder?"
