vampire movies

so, how do you guys feel about vampire movies? i love them for some reason, even though i've never really gotten into too many other "horror" movies. i guess i got started with Lost Boys, and it just went from there. i really like the Braum Stoker's Dracula that had Keanu in it. i liked Queen of the Damned, and Dracula 200, too. which ones do you like/dislike?

I like John Carpenters Vampires 1 and 2 2nd is the best, damn Bon Jovi just rules!!!, Bram Stoker's dracula is pretty cool too, and From Dusk Til Dawn is pretty neet, don't like those Cristopther Lee Draculas, they'r all the same

I have never been really into vampire movies as much as other types of horror films. I did like Interview With the Vampire though...

I hate most vampire movies. I thought Queen of teh Damned was teh worst movie i had ever seen.

The ones i like are john carpentors vampires and from dusk till dawn.

first time we agree huh BF

the only vampire movies i can tolerate are

bram stokers dracula, dusk till dawn, lost boys, Nosferatu, and Red rising

I LOVE vampire films! I also read Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles. My favorite vampire movie is perhaps Interview with the Vampire. I also like Queen of the Damned, Dracular Dead and Loving it (not horror, but a classic!) Vampires was good, and I absolutely LOVED Blade... Frost (Stephen Dorff) kicked ass and was so hott!
I like vampires because they bend the rules of reality and they are so sexy and seductive.

unfortunately they arent scary whatsoever, they always look so homo-erotic that you cant take them seriously.

The exception is in dusk till dawn, they were freaky in that one.

I forgot about Blade... I like both of those.

i liked the lost boys and salems lot

BLADE!! ne of my fave movies....first STEPHEN DORFF played the hell out of the Deacon Frost! He was sarcastic and cynical and so cool all the way through the film! hot too 😮

Another important thing is, when Blade came out, nothing like it was done before.....now i look at the Underworld and i dont know if i should laugh or cry, how bad it is!

Interview with the Vampire, i also liked...book was amazing as well...

I have never seen an actual "great" vampire movie. i have seen good ones but never a great vampire movie. I prefer watching cannibal movies and zombie movies.

well, i did like blade, but i haven't seen the 2nd one. everyone i know keeps telling me i need to see interview...vampire, so i guess i need to rent that one! i've heard from dusk 'til dawn is good. i'll add it to my must see list as well. did anyone see that vampire movie that eddie murphy made (probably about 6-8 yrs. ago)? i know it was cheese, but i found it quite humorous.

oooh yeah!! I have!! I liked it...it was good...i think it was called...''Vampire in Brookilyn'' or something along these lines...
oo oo i likes that one! it amused me greatly...Eddy is a charmer, thats why it worked! 😄

uh, maybe i'm a little faint of heart for this forum. i finally saw from dusk til dawn last night. didn't get much sleep. while the cheese level was high, it still bothered me quite a bit. i think the type of vampire movies i usually like are probably the ones that most of you don't usually like. ❌ i still need to see interview/vampire, though.

queen of the damned is quite ok i think but it is not really v interestin as in plot wise - the books much better.my ultimate fav vampire is Lestat!!!!and stuart townsend does a much better job than tom criuse as lestat 😄

I love Blade II
