i like the pic you attached to this post. i still want to see interview. maybe i'll include it in the spooky movie night we usually have around halloween.

You dont wanna see queen of the damned, it's absolutely horrible.

i've already seen queen of the damned. it wasn't the best vampire movie i've ever seen, but it wasn't the worst. there were parts of the storyline that i liked, and some that i would have thrown out if i were making it. i liked lost boys and blade much better, and dracula 2000.

yeah i agree,it wasn't the worst, but not the best either,so its not really on the top ten (or bottom ten?) list 😉 sum of the effects were cool and aaliyah was so seductive 😉 haa yeah i love that pic too!!!!it brings ot the vampire in him....haha...

it was absolutely terrible, it is like some stupid mtv propaganda film for wannabe gothic kids who think that any movie that involves vampires is automatically good because it goes with their "image". It was excrutiating to watch, i could'nt even sleep during the movie cuz i was trying so hard, i couldnt walk out because my ride was watching the movie with me. It was just a horrible all around flick, the worst i have ever seen, even worse then crossroads and glitter. It was unwatchable in my book and had absolutely no redeeming scenes or qualities in it. I just thank god that i got in for free, i woulda hated it even more had i wasted 8 bucks on that piece of pretentious garbage.

ah - well, i didn't waste "theater" money on it. in fact, i didn't even rent it. i think it was on a movie channel or something when i watched it. i don't even remember. i might have felt differently if i had spent money! as it was, it didn't bother me so much.

I really like vampire movies! My favorite would probably be a toss up between Underworld and The Lost Boys. Then probably The Foresaken. idk they're all pretty good! 🙂

Strange no one mentioned "Near Dark". That was a very good
vampire movie.

Along with "Lost Boys" and "Salem's Lot", it is my favorite.

Keanu Reeve's "Dracula" was also pretty good.

You actually watched crossroads?! Man, you must live under a whip!

No, it was on TV one night, and I watched it with one of my friends so we could mock it, it was actually pretty fun.

Back to topic, I think Blade is very good, considering it's age. The second part as well, atleast those movies dared to be truly violent and sadistic while being brought out by a major movie-label. Haven't seen Blade Trinity yet.
Bram Stoker's Dracula has my admiration as well, good story, decent acting and a nice touch of drama, just like Interview.
John Carpenters Vampires is just about one the best I've seen so far, very creative and atleast a bit scary at some points, without the 'cartoon' elements. Lost Boys seemed a bit to much like Beverly Hills 90210 with fangs to me.
The whole vampire-myth is a good ground for a movie, so please tell me any other titles worth watching.

ditto that - i caught it on tv as well 🙂

i HATED the storyline man.was completely messed up - had nothing to do with the book.😠

i wanna watch salem's lot!!

Man what happened to Fright Night, that is one of the coolest vampire films out there.Blade is good the whole trilogy rocks but you can hardly call them horror films...........Another cool one from the eighties was Vamp, that Grace Jones is one freaky looking woman but definitely suits being a vampire and in my mind truly the best vampire film is John Carpenters Vampires!! 😈 👿 😘

they rock there better than werewolfws there all cool acept for blade trinity rated worst movie of the year in 2004 and it had one of the worst draculas ever one of my fave actors played dracula and won an award for it gary oldman rules!!
