After the 11 minute ran out, you would flip it again so there would be 4 minutes left.

No, after the 11 runs out and the 7 has 3 left, you flip it over once again to have 4 minutes remaining.

EL ; you have to start them both at the same time.

By the time 7 runs out, you have 4 left on 11. You instantly flip 7 and let it run until 11 runs out of grains of sand. So now we are on 7+4 which is equal to 11. You then Instantly flip 7 which after you flipped it has 4 left to run.

Mine is much simpler though...

How ? You have to do it in the least possible time

Who says?

I do 😐

gosh imma just give the answers, i just read the first page...u guys are retarded 😂

turn both hour glasses over at the same time, when the 7 minute hour glass is empty, the 11 minute will now have 4 minutes left to drain, that's when you start timing. when the 4 minutes are up, turn the 11 min. hour glass over again, and there is your 15 minutes! no stop watch, no cheating, HAH

HERE'S ANOTHER RIDDLE......IT'S NOT WATER!!!!
