You' re a volunteer from the audience at a magic show. The magician’ s assistant hands you a deck of cards and asks you to shuffle them thoroughly, then show them one by one to the assistant and the audience. As you do so, the magician - who is blindfolded and has his back to the audience - correctly identifies each card in the deck.

Some of the audience members assume you must be an accomplice who only pretended to shuffle the cards, but you know they are wrong. There are no wires or radio signals involved. Nobody can work out how the trick is done. In fact, this is one the most mystifying tricks in conjuring.

Months later, you see the magician’ s assistant on the street - and although you say not a word to each other, you suddenly know how the trick was done.

How?

Ceterum censeo OTF esse delendam.

Bus Trip

You're driving a bus that is leaving on a trip from Pennsylvania and ending in New York. To start off with, there were 32 passengers on the bus. At the next bus stop, 11 people get off and 9 people get on. At the next bus stop, 2 people get off and 2 people get on. At the next bus stop, 12 people get on and 16 people get off. At the next bus stop, 5 people get on and 3 people get off. What color are the bus driver's eyes?

Let's see, my eyes are dark brown-black, so I'd say dark-brown black.

Alright since that one was not tough enough for you miscreants, I shall post another --

A trolley is going down a track at roughly 95 mph. After going 9 miles up the trail, it makes a left turn on a crosstracks. Several minutes pass by and the trolley has now advanced 10 more miles up the trail. It comes to another crosstrack, and immediately swerves right, before it proceeds to go uphill through a tunnel. When it exits the tunnel, which way will the steam blow?

It's a trolley, there's no steam.

Awwpetpet I'm sure you can, and I'm sure you can solve other stuff too😄

When you see the assistant performing as a ventriloquist, you know that is how the trick was done - the magician wasn' t identifying the cards at all, the assistant was, only with their mouth closed so it sounded like the magician was talking.
The magician had his back to the audience, so you couldn' t see his lips weren’ t moving

Ceterum censeo OTF esse delendam.

wtf

Neither would I😮

It was winter-time and a woman's house was robbed. The cops arrived and found a few clues, among them were tire-tracks in the snow near the wall.
Within a day however, they caught the thief, and returned the stolen items.
How?
