This is a rp for those who like vampires. Interview with the Vampire, Queen of the Damned, Vampires, along with many more movies have inspired me to write fiction about the immortal beings of the night. This is one of my favorite topics to discuss, and I thought it would be fun to RP here on the forum.
Feel free to post a character, the only condition is you have to be an experienced rper, you have to be descriptive and detailed. I'm sorry to sound like a biatch, but newbies usually bring the mood down. However, if u are a newbie and think u can really add to this RPG, feel free to post.
Hey. I was hoping I could join this. If so, here's my (rather long ^_^;; ) character info thinger. Yes. Quite. 😄
Name: Christian Renaldi
Gender: male
Born: 1781
Died: 1805
Age: 200 (seems to be 24)
Description: Black hair, just below shoulder length, usually falls in front of gray eyes. His usual attire is more often than not relaxed. For the most part, he can be found wearing jeans, black boots, a gray t-shirt and a black snow cap.
Personality: At first glance, he seems to be nothing more than a laid-back slacker. But those who look closer will find a much more complicated being. Christian tries to keep to himself. He can be kind, if he feels so inclined, but the one thing he cannot stand is being told what to do.
History: Christian Renaldi was born Horatio Paley in London, England. His mother was a servant, and she died while giving birth to him. His father, Richard Paley, was the master of the house and old money. He kept Christian on as his son, much to the chagrin of his then wife Lucy. Throughout most of his childhood, Christian was treated badly by his would-be mother; he was beaten, used as the help, and suffered many more tortures that he really would prefer to forget. His father was away much of the time, in order to assure that the family business would keep them all in the life to which they were accustomed.
Horatio suffered through all of it, but did not come out unscathed. From then on he has had an intense dislike and mistrust for women. Especially rich women. Horatio disappeared at the age of sixteen, and was gone for more than eight years. His father died in his sleep at the age of 57. Horatio, to the fury of Lucy and her daughter Elizabeth, inherited not only the family business, but the family fortune as well. Horatio Paley went out for a short walk on the eve of his father's funeral, and returned Christian Renaldi. He left for the very last time early the next morning, and has never gone back. He lives on what is left of his family's fortune, which isn't much now, but he gets by.
And a quick question: What 'rules' are we going by here as pertaining to vampiric lore? i.e. are vampires repelled by garlic, stake to the heart or chop off the head, etc.? All the important stuff. Just thought I'd ask. ^_^;;
