Idiot Brigade Captain!
Christian walked between old crumbling brick buildings, one of the many slums in the city. He passed an old woman, drawing with nothing on the wall and hissing to herself. A few young men could be seen in the dim moonlight in the alley to his right, probably a drug deal or something of the like.
Of course, Christian wasn't completely biased. He knew that the slums were the choice habitat of the insane and addicted, but he also knew that there were some that had no choice in the matter. It was these humans he spared. He knew what it was to be a captive of your own life. Besides, nobody would miss the insane, the drug dealers, a few hookers here and there.
He walked for a long while, not really searching for prey, not really looking for anything to do. Out of the mingled noises of sirens and music in the distance, he picked up the sound of voices somewhere up ahead. A step to the side and he melted into the shadows, continuing his long walk. As he approached the man and woman, he grinned. He knew what they were, and that they could probably sense him as well. He leaned against a cold building, and simply watched.
