"i lived off stuff like this for over fifty years, so you should too" James said standing up. "Im trusting you both in my house, giving you shelter from the light. i do not expect to be dead by the end of this day. Because trust me, i will get you back, must i have to return to this world." James walked to the blood packets and picked them up. "If you dont like it, dont drink it" he dropped them and looked out the window. feeling the sun for the first time in many years. "The sun is up...." he said and sat back down "Please stay as long as you like... i have no problem with you." he said as he rested his eyes. not sleeping
Leinhart approached a tavern. The wind was blowing hard that night, the none of the lamp posts had their fires lit. Although his hood concealed his identity, and the darkness kept him hidden from mortal eyes, he was still a recognizable being. He knocked on the tavern door. After a few seconds, the squeaky door creaked open and a large bartender with a handlebar mustache opened the door. "Sorry sir, closing hours. I can't let you in." Leinhart didn't move. "Did you here me? I said we're closed. Buggar off," as he began to shot the massive door, Leinghart stopped it with the hilt of his sword before it fully closed. The bartender recognized the hilt of the sword as the legendary Night Slayer sword. When he swung the door open Leinhart was no longer there. The bartender stepped out and looked around. His attention was grabbed when a colony of bats were flying into the pale moon. "Could it have been? Leinhart..."
Shona walked quietly through the shadows. The dank air moved silently from her lungs to her open mouth, the carbon dioxide it formed creating a filmy cloud in the chilled atmosphere. She closed her eyes and took in the sounds around her. Laughter..a scream. She opened them. She could smell others of her knid, not far off. She was hungry...a bit famished from her journey. She needed a meal.
James stod up and opened the door. The pizza boy was here but... it was actually a BOY, young.
"That will be $12.50, Please sir." he said happily and with a kind smile. James couldnt let Darkclaw get him. James smiled and handed him a $20.
"Keep the change." James said politly.
"Thank you sir" the kid said and walked off.
James took the pizza in and sighed "Well, there goes one plan..." he said.
