The bats swarmed an alleyway. After a brief moment of cats darting away and trash cans overturning, Leinhart walked out onto a metropolitan state. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a gang of what could have been mistaken as a mix of goth and wannabe vampires. They proceeded to quicken their pace when Leinhart turned to walk away from them.

"What's the matter, old man? You aren't afraid of us little kids are our?" He hissed showing off his fake fangs. "I mean, we're only vampires!" The entire group exploded with high pitched laughter.

Come closer, Leinhart commented, and I'll show you what a real vampire can do. The arrogant teen decided to test his chances, a mistake he'd sooner regret. Leinhart grabbed the teen's neck with lightening speed. At first the adolescent struggled, but was immediately suppressed when Leinhart snapped the child's neck. A few of the bigger friends jumped in to intervene, but where quickly disposed of when Leinhart drew his sword. The rest were easy targets as they were either girls or scared little boys.

Leinhart moved to the last girl who was shaking violently against the side of the car, the alarm blaring loudly. He knelt over stroking the girls cheek, his whisper audible over the noise, Let me show you what a real vampire can do. The glass shattering shriek resounded through the night, as Leinhart ate his fill...

Name- Cera ("Sarah"😉 Pierson
Age- 17
Race- Human.. for now
Appearance- Long wavy brown hair, piercing green eyes, lanky
Bio- Cera was raise din a family of hunters, and for a while her family name was feared by many vampires. But, one tragic night Cera's brother was bitten and cahnged, therefore ruining the family name. Cera's parents were later killed, also by vampires. Now, Cera roams the streets, traveling from city to city, never staying anywhere long. Cera never really approved of what her family was known for, in fact she hated it all, and has mixed feelings over the death of her parents. She has killed a few vampires in her travels, but they were only for self defense.

((heh.. I had a little too much fun with this..))

She held up the wooden stake over the vampires heart. They had had a long struggle but it seem that Cera had finally prevailed. A smirk crossed her face as she held the worn-out vampire down with her knees. "So the vampire is destructible," she said slyly as he squirmed weakly under her. "I..always...get... my... way...," he whispered,"You...can't...kill...me..."
"Oh I can't can I?" she asked, mocking politeness, "Please correct me if I am wrong, but as I see it, you are the one that is about to die." Cera normally would've killed it as soon as she had the chance, but this vampire seemed to have chosen the wrong day to attack her. But Cera was too cockey for her own good at the moment. The vampire seemed to get a sudden rush of energy as it flipped Cera off of him, and then held her down with his knees, just as she had done to him. Cera was so shocked at the sudden movement she was left breathless. Now it was his turn to smirk, "Ah how the tables have turned." Cera stared up at him in fear and shock. He smiled sweetly at her as he slowly bent down towards her throat. She jerked her head and struggled to get away. But the vampire simply put a hand to her neck and held it down tightly. His hand was blocking all air and Cera started to feel very light-headed. "Any last words?" he asked, but Cera couldn't respond. He gently kissed the base of her neck then sank his sharp fangs into her throat. She let out the loudest cry of pain she could muster, but it was quickly muffled by the vampires hand. Her eyes slowly closed and her body went limp under him. The vampire eventually stood up when he was finished, and walked off, leaving her there to fend for herself when she woke up.

Darkclaw got up. "Somebody else has been turned. Vampires these days are getting to cocky," He said to James and Melin. then ran outside. following the scent of the soon to be newly turned. He finnally arrived and there was a girl laying unconcious and an obvious vampire running the other way. He bent down over her to see if there was any blood left looking in the two holes then sighed and sat down on a bench right next to her. He knew that a vampire that woke up alone would go in to a rampage (from experience) He sat there....waiting.

Cera slowly became concious again. She sat up bringing her knees to her chest, and holding her head, trying to remember where she was or what the hell just happened. Cera looked around and caught sight of someone sitting by her. She stood up, staggered, and leaned against a wall for support. "Wh..who are you?" she asked her voice shaking.

"The same type of thing as you are... now," Darkclaw responded showing his fangs. "Welcome to the other side. I caut a sight of the vampire who bit you if you want to go on vandttaing but I wouldn't do that. What's your name?," He asked. "You remind me of someone familiar," He said

She glared at him, he couldn't be serious. But the memories came flooding back, the fight, her victory, the sudden change, the fangs, then the bite. "I..I'm Cera... Pierson." she said still stuttering out of either fear or weakness.

"ah... a member of the Pierson vampire hunter family am I correct? I had some ahem history with your, well it would have to be at least your grandfather by now," Darkclaw said his eyes shifting. He cleared his throat "but anyway, if memory serves me correct, with you went the last of the hunter family. You're all vampires now. Sort of...ironic if you ask me. Bill would have been quite unpleased," Darkclaw sighed. "Here, follow me. I know a place where you can stay for the day." He said heading back towards James' house

Cera's eyes narrowd as she took in everything he had said. She didn't know whether she could trust him or not, but if there was one thing she knew about vampires they couldn't survive in sunlight. She let him lead her to wherever they were going. Cera stayed silent, she didn't know what to say to his comments about her family.

Darkclaw turned around towards her and said. " Alright, this is James' house. James is a human but former vampire, so keep your hands and fangs off of him or I will be forced to kill you, there is also another vampire in there named Melin. I do not know much about her, but she's not from around here, I can tell you that much,". Darkclaw opened the door and walked in. And made a hand gesture towards her to come in too.

Was that a death threat...? she thought as she stepped into the house. Cera breathed in and smelled her first human, and felt the first need for blood. Cera looked around, and muttered a barely audible "Thanks.." to Darkclaw.

James stood up "What the hell?!" he said "Why did you bring ANOTHER vampire into my house?!"

"well, She's a newly turned. You remembe the motto: never leave a newly turned behind.," he said " Besides, you said you should name this place the vampire inn, it's never too late," He said shrugging

James groaned and sat back down "Im older than you by atleast a hundred years, and i know about sarcasm!" James snapped as he sat in the chair.

Cera could tell she wasn't very welcomed here and she took a step back towards the door. "I can leave," she said timidly.

Darkclaw laughed and sat down. "Still, the person who sired her didn't follow the 'motto' and was just leaving when I arrived.," He cracked his fingers. " I plan to kill him by nightfall. You want to come with?" He asked

James looked at the new bvampire "If you leave, you will die, no sense in that, i just dont feel like dying today"

The delivery boy let out a silent cry for help when she pushe dher fangs into the soft flesh in his neck. He winced and attempted struggle. " It's not worth it. " She smiled. She was not only draining his blood, but his precious life enrgy. She smiled as he fell limp in her arms. His body hit the ground. He was still breathing. She bent, pushing her lips onto his once more. " Thanks." she said. " Hope you don't mind, ill be taking this. " Sh said, grabbing the pizza box from the front seat. His eyes were open and glazed, his mouth gaping. His last moments would be in shock. She then tucked the box away, and looked up at the door she had moved to. There were quite a few of her kind in there. She wondered if she would have to kill any of them. She stood outside, lookingat the myriad of stars.
