" What.. no.." Something hit her then. His scent was on her...faintly, but still. And it was no longer tracable. She grimaced. Had it been suicide? Ah well. Not of her importance anymore. He was not the one anyway.
No...you were wrong this time. Guess again. a voice hissed in her head.
" Shove it Aroura. " She shot back.
Bite me. Sister, you know you cannot depart from me untill you find the one who locked my soul away. I would not have chosen this to be you... but one day you too will be killed from my prescense. I cannot let that happen. You must find that person..or vampire. What ever he is, and kill him. Kill him so he cannot take your spirit as well.
Shona's eyes narrowed. Aroura hed indeed been locked into her soul, and could not be released untill whom ever this was was identified and killed. She really thought she had him this time. Pity.
Shona jumped down gracefully, her mind cleared of Aroura's appearent words. She could care less. So what if her life was taken? She didn't need anyone. She never had. She touched her pale cheek , startled as she felt a warm wetness roll down it.
" Pathetic."
She whispered. She had'nt cried scince she was nine. She had been born human, but her sister, Aroura was one of the eternals. Aroura had been a vampire all her life, and still was, she supposed. Shona had'nt known her mother, and her adopted human father had been killed when a vampire came to return Shona to her birth place. She remembered the tears, just like this one flowing down he rface. But they wer not tears of fear, simply the pain of bein galone.
She smiled, and wiped away at her face with the back of a slender hand. Each individual digit tremmoring under the wetness, and finally trailing to her mouth, placing a salty tatse of remores on her tongue. She would move on. And kill that person and anyone in her way.
The first place she thought of was of course, James' house. She had known no other permanent home. It was the closest thing she could think of... even though she wished she could go anywhere else. "Follow me." she said, leading Kai back to the house. She stepped inside with him, "Make yourself at home."
Now Shona was heading back to James's house. His aura...he had something to do with it, or knew someone who did. When she reached the bedroom wnidow, she realised someone was inside. No...two...a vampire..and. Hm. She could'nt place the other. She was pretty sure he was another. Well, the female would be pretty pissed. Shona kind of wondered if she was to blame for his sudden death. Honestly she would'nt have killed him. She just needed a taste of his blood and aura. then she would be able to tell. She heard the footsteps come nearer and sat on the bed expectantly.
"Oh..." she said quietly. Cera's body suddenly stiffened as she sensed another vampire in the house... sure there were many that stayed here, But she couldn't quite remember this one. Smiling once more to Kai she said, "Excuse me for a moment will you?" Cera made her way up the stairs and into the bedroom, finding herself face to face with a female vampire.
Shona gave the other female an inquisitive look. Her blue eyes scoped through the other vampires soul as she continued her stare. She rose from the bed and bowed her head politely and gazed past her a bit absentmindedly.
" Im sorry for your loss." She said, lifting her eyes from a photo of two boys she had picked up.
Cera's eyes narrowed as she stared back at the other. This was one of the other girls that liked James. She was one of the reason she had ended up murdering him. "You..." she said, her voice laced with hatred, but she could barely bring herself to say much more. "You don't deserve to live after what you put him through," although she didn't have much intention of fighting let alone killing her.
