As she stepped out a smile crossed Shona's face. It was good that the other was understanding. She hadn't expected him to be. She hissed as the bright sunlight shone onto her face, and pulled her trench over her eyes before she moved silently into the shadows of a backstreet.
"We should move quickly" he said following closely behind. "It will not be long before the light topples the houses and engulfs the city. By then, we'll be doomed."
" Oh.." she turned, and nodded. " I know of a place we can go. That appartment. It's not far from here. Only a block i beleive." After a few minutes of walking they reached the building she had been looking for. She quickily twisted the knob, using a nail in her pocket to jab through the lock, and entered. It had th same furninshings as the other human house, however it was a bit smaller.

He sighed, feeling the door shut on the sun for the day. He did not however, remove his robe. He unlatched his newly aquired sword and set it down next to the one he had given her. "How rude of me," he said breaking the silence, "I do not know your name."

"No, that night I gave it to you. You may keep it." There was a brief pause before he went on to say, "Shona...what a beautiful name." He moved towards the window, but did not lower the blinds. "How can something so beautiful be so deadly?"
" Thank you...very much" Her voice seemed to echo, maybe in only her mind...but she followed his gaze towards the window, where only black blurs through half closed eyes could be made out. Even the sunlight in it's finest form made her wince. Curious how such a light statement probed her mind so restlessly.
" I don't know. But it almost seems unfair." She answered quietly.

He lowered the blinds, before the light of the sun could full reach the window. "This is one contraption I am familiar of," he made his way back from the window and stood across from her, the air around them tensing. "Tell me, Shona, what type of vampire are you?"
Kai sighed as he stood in the shower. He got out and dried off. He brushes his teeth with his toothbrush and put his pants on. He put his shirt in the laundry basket. He walked down the stairs and looked at the broken TV. 'bastards...' he thought. 'this is james' house, and they just dont respect a dead mans possessions.' he sighed and picked up the picture. he looked at it and grimiced as he looked at the two teens on the picture. it was him and james. He shook his head and threw it in the trash. "you forgot about me... and yet you kept my picture in your room... is that what you think freindship is?" he said quietly. he looked out the blinds. the sun had risen. He didnt care. he put on James' over coat and his hat. He amde sure his skin was covered and walked outside into the sun. it didnt burn as bad, close to nothing. he was going to find the bastard who ruined james' possessions.

" What type of vampire...would you like me to be? "
"You seem to be one who doesn't seem to know. And that is good," he knew his comment didn't make sense, so he went on to add. "You see there are two type of vampires: The originals and the hybrids. The originals are the first vampire. Dracula, Count Orlock, Elizabeth Báthory, and number of them that have eluded my grasp at the moment. And then you have the hybrids." He paused to allow the new information to sink.
"The hybrids are created from bite wounds made from the contact from another vampire. They're only hybrids if they are of human descent turned vampire. The reason I say it's good, is because it's better to know today than yesterday. You are neither tied by old bonds or new ones. You are...unknown." He made his way over a bit closer so as to whisper the remaining lines, "however, you must be careful. An unidentifiable person is an enemy to all."
She thought for a moment. " Im just not sure if she is I..or... do you mind if i tell you something a bit odd about myself? It may not make sense, and it might even turn you away from me. And i know it will feel different for someone to know the truth, but maybe you will understand. " She said, letting her eyes move to the faint knock on the door. " He's back...?"
