"Thank you"

He smiled, "think nothing of it." He turned and headed toward the black bag, "here you must be hungry." He pulled out a ten point buck, and tossed the dead body towards Shona, "it took me all day today to hunt this creature down." He shifted, as though in discomfort. "Enjoy it."

She closed her eyes for just a moment, holding the blanket closer. It had his scent...She blushed and looked at the creature before her, nodding in appreciation. Slowly she lifted it to her thin lips and let her fangs slide into it's throat, right below it's muzzle. She lifted her head then. He had done this for her? Shona's eyes found his instantaniously, and she licked a bit of blood form her lips.
" Are you hungry as well? "
She blushed suddenly, moving a hand up to wipe a drop of blood that had trickled down her pale chin.

"It is alright," he said chuckling, "you will soon learn that some times hunger is your only reliable friend." He looked down at the dead deer, "But if you insist, I would like a hind leg." He said licking his upper lip. "Of course the meal is yours. I can always eat something else."

Shona bowed her head in a silent agreement with him.
" That's very true."
She paused and swallowed a small chunk of meat she had nipped off of it's neck, and then wiped her mouth with the back of her hand. She reached down and dung her long talon like claws into the animals thigh. Tearing through sinewy muscle and tendon it fanally came loose enoug for her to tear clear off. She smiled up at Leinhart.
" Here"
She offered the leg to him, hoping he didnt mind her touching. She had moved her body a bit in case he would have liked to sit, but it seemed he did not.

She sighed softly. She felt so peaceful, a slight tirdness still hanging over her. She was relaxed, completly at ease and convinced that if she must die, she would like it to be right here, before Leinhart and in this calm state of mind.

(Better hope James doesnt find out where Shauna is, little techni 😉)

He took the leg, and almost instantly devoured it in the darkness of his robe. It was quick, and almost unnoticable. The cape tore at its edges and flung itself up covering the meat. Time seemed to slow down, and then just as quickly as it had started it ended. The cape returned to it's normal form, and the bones of the leg dropped suddenly to the ground.
"Thanks..."

(waiting for robbie to post.)

Shona's eyes made a valid attempt to follow his moves with vigilance. They widened a bit as the bones dropped to the ground, and she grinned, trying to smoothly rip another chunk off with her teeth. Her precision did not raise a finger to his, resulting in a slight blush.

Leinhart slumbed down sitting on the room she made for him. He gazed up into the starry night, and seemed to relax once more. "Tomorrow, evening I'll teach you to fly," he said closing his eyes and moving his arms behind his head. "Then when your wings are strong enough for the journey, I'll take you to were it all started. To meet the patriarches and matriarches. The castle, the country side, the villiage..." he seemed to drift away into the night, slowly carried away by the breeze of the evening. "You would have loved it. Back then our kind were divided amongst the other beast of Transylvania. Soon hunters became sprouting like weeds, but the greatest threat of all was the evolution of society."

Here he stopped and sat himself up, wrapping his arms around his legs, "once the technology came, we couldn't fight anymore. Well atleast some of us. There were those who left the ancient ways and adopted the new ones. They learned to wield these guns. But those of us who did not wish to follow such abominations sought to fight this war with tradition. We did not last long. Only the strong survived." He seemed to lose himself once more, but this time it was pain that impeeded his progress. He layed down his side; his back towards Shona. "Finish eating. I will rest here for the time being..."

(hope to find your glasses soon)

Shona followed his distand gaze into the sky. A myriad of stars greeting them, and she tried for a moment counting them. After about five she stopped, and turned her eyes to Leinhart's as he spoke. His voice drifted into her mind, and flooded it with a mental image of his words. She nodded following attentitively. She couldnt help but smile when he said he would teach her to use her new wings. She could'nt wait to explore the places he seemed to know and love. She was curious to learn about everything. She'd be so greatful to get just a taste of it.

She cocked her head as he seemed to tense up. His voice carried a colder note as he talked about how they were overthrown, and killed off. Suddenly the imagery in her mind turned vayne, dark, unwelcoming. It worried her to know that he went through that. She hoped he was alright... Her eyes followed him as he turned his back to her. She wanted so badly to reach out, touch him, and ease his pain. After all he had done for her, she more then owed it to him. She wanted him to be happy.

Sighing, She lay down, resting her new wings upon the rock clumsily. She faced his back and leaned forward.
" I'll be here. "
She whispered softly, returning to her former spot. She closed her eyes, but remained unable to sleep.

"Go to sleep. Yes tonight. Tomorrow, bright and early, we'll begin your instructions as a true vampire." He turned and faced her, the moon reflecting off her elegant physic. He reached over and outlined the new soft contours of her face. She still carried warmth compared to his chilling touching.

"Perhaps one day..." he stopped, realizing his mistake and quickly turned away. He was at a loss for words, "I uh," he cleared his voice and stood up, "I will leave you your room. Enjoy your sleep." Before she could answer, Leinhart spread his wings and took off for the neighboring woods. Hoping that this new found darkness would remind him of his promise...

She nodded. Tommorow a new life would begin for her. Something she never had experienced before...it was odd, but she liked this feeling. She stared at them moon, and then gazed at him as he continued to speak. He cut off his sentence and flew off. With a sigh and a hopeful smile she lay down.

A sudden pain engulfed her body, causing her to tremble and shake with a certain unnamable fear. Then it was over. She heard a soft voice echo through the night.

" It's over. Keep on..."

And that was it. She laughed out loud as a tear of slight remorse rolled slowly down her face. He unlocked her secret. That was it...the secret to her sisters death. Now she closed her eyes, for the first time in a while laying down to a peaceful sleep.

" Goodnight, Leinhart. "
She whispered, drifting off.

[I'll let you start the morning post 😄]

Shona woke up early, yawning and stretching her lean body out. She blinked away the sleepiness in her eyes and stood, looking around for Leinhart. Intruiged by the new eight on her back, she managed to spread her wings, losing her balance sson after. She still held the blanket around her body, blushing as she realized she needed clothes.

Bio:
Born in England and turned into a Vampire at the age of 24.
A business man, used “acquired” money to set up multiple business empires, using his own strength of will and “negotiation” techniques he built up his business eliminating the competition as they got too strong. Either by pay offs or visits from his cronies in the dead of night the opposition was silenced. He owns multiple clubs, bars and other ventures across the cities and has a hand in many world wide companies an unnamed figure in the background but wielding significant power within such organisations.

Whilst ruthless in business he believes in what is known as the masquerade, Vampires are not to be known to the mortals they survive by not flaunting their power unless necessary…when attacked or if certain circumstances arise. Whilst living by a certain set of rules he is not unaccustomed to breaking his own rules for a profit.

Often seen dressed in designer suits and always looking smart the natural charisma he gives out makes mortals feel more at ease around him, a good trait to have when dealing in business with mortals.
