It porved somewhat effective, but didnt last very long.
Leinhart shook his head, "too slow!" At this reply he lunged foward with lightening speed and struck her on the side with his shin, throwing her into the shallow end of the lake. "Your mind had the urge to retaliate, it saw my movements before I had commenced. But your body is slow, and your wings are a ball than an extention of your skin." He walked over and knelt beside her, tilting his head to the side as he lowered it. "You feelings are what blind you. How is it you can enjoy freedom, if you know not what it's like to be a slave?" He grabbed her by the neck and lifted her up, "You will try again," he dropped her and proceeded back to where he stood. "You best hurry, your little charade has cost you time."
Her head snapped to the left before Leinhart could touch her and she executed this newfound skill once more, this time with decent proficiency. She stayed indie this shell for a moment, her eyes focused on the ground with a silent rage engulfing her.

Leinhart shifted at the improvement, but still addressed her firmly. "Good. The control is now evident, but the shape is still lacking. Notice that beneath that ball is your delicate skin. And beneath your skin, is a new found vampire. But what good is that, if your naked?" He chuckled and returned to his serious state once more, "You will now convert your shell, into adequate clothing. Begin."
Shona sent him a peircing glare, once again self concious about her lack of clothing. She closed her eyes agitatedly and spread her wings once more, trying desperately to keep a graceful composure. This was somewhat difficult with her full body exposed to a vampire who...Her chain of thoughts stopped dead. To a vampire who changed her life for the better, who set her soul free.
She let out a sigh, and then nodded to herself. Clothing. Start with the basics? She considered this for a moment. She had to cover her whole body, but would she be able to control the form of her new apparel? Slowly she closed her eyes, extending her wings once more. In a wave of blackness something like skin tight boy shorts pulled themselves aruond her thighs and rear. A large blush spread over her face. This was worse than being nude. Much quicker did she figure out how to rid her self of the clothing. She was tempted to ask how to do this, but refrained, finally deciding it would be just like her ball of protection. She would think about it, and her energy would immediately flood into the task.
Taking a deep , calming breath she once more closed her vivid eyes in an attempt to focus fully and completly. In but another flood of black her wings encased her, and dispersed to reveal an outfit much like she worn before she came here.
~No clue what I"m doing~
Don hated walking home at night. Work sometimes had him stay a few hours later - while it didn't make sense to buy a car when his job was only a few blocks away, nonetheless he hated walking home in it. His hands periodically touched the handgun, concealed as it was. He turned down at a street, passing a street hooker and a few pedestrians as he went.

Leinhart smiled, but his hooded attire concealed this gesture from being seen. "Good, now for your next lesson," he said looking towards the sky, "what do you fancy that is?"

Slowly she turned towards him, her body tense. She raised an eye brow and followed his gaze.
" A cloud? "
She asked, closing her eyes.
"No, your mistake", he lunged once more thrusting his forearm into her stomach knocking her into the lake. "First rule of being a vampire: never let your gaurd down." He reached for the clip that tied his illusion robe together. As he pulled it aside as though it were real, it disappeared in mid air. As he removed it, his wings immediatly formed into his second attire. This however was done with such speed and grace, that it was as though he was wearing the clothes the whole time.
"You still have your sword?"
Shona stood, enraged. Water dripped in a steady flow down her pale face as she bared her teeth out of habit. She closed her eyes, trying to keep herself from getting too agitated and nodded towards the boulder she had slept on the night prior. She cocked her head slightly. He had seemed so different only a night before... She managed to dart towards it, holdin git ready, her stance fierce in case he decided to launch some insane air assault on her.

He chuckled a cold, sinacle laughter which seemed to echo off their surroundings. "Put the sword down, you wouldn't last two paces with me." He turned around and proceeded to walk into the woods. "No, you will learn to hunt this next lesson. The only reason we are entering into the woods is because no matter how we morph our wings, nothing can protect us from the light of the high-noon sun." He seemed to quickly disappear into the thick brush and foliage that outlined the lake.
Again her glare filtered through his hardened dispostion. She let her sword hit the ground silently as she stepped forward. She didn't know why she was taking this ind of treatment. The ignorant and impulsive division of her mind was screaming for her to get out there and rip him to shreds. In this state she could not imagine why he had put on that charming cheradeHowever, the other part of her mind she was trying so hard to over look, the calm decisive fraction, was telling her that this was right. On top of that some strange alien emotion was clouding her mind with restless provocation. What was it? It was maddening. She didnt even know what she felt.
Heaving a sigh she made her way into the denser trees. This felt so wrong, she felt so pathetic, and low. Somehow, though, she couldnt stop this.

Leinhart's voice pierced through the vegetation of the thick forest. "Not even a minute in this forest and you've already broken the second rule." There was a rustle amongst the trees and then silence once more. "How hungry you are will determine what your body sees, and what your pray will notice. Vampires can walk amongst animals that they hunt. The others, seeing them, will run in fear. It is how we maintain the balance." Once again there was movement up in the trees and then silence. It was though he was hopping from limb to limb. "Ask yourself, what are you hungry for?"

Misaki; ever the friend of shadows walked the streets of the town as she usually did after dusk. Catching the scent of the mortals that inhabited the town made her feel truly lively, but behind the steely facade of her vampiric features she truly longed for both death and life as she'd once known it.
Following the path of another randomised target, Misaki's movements became fluid and faster than the usual human eye could catch.
The hunt was on.
