"I'm afraid I already have a headache." Jak was now fully in control and except for the overwhelming lust for blood he accepted Ozi's sarcasm. "Yes, go outside and disappear or go watc re-runs of Buffy on Sky-one. Im sure you could use a television or are you too sick in the head to operate the control properly." Inside, Zekelaz laughed at the snide remark that Jak gave.
Ozi then growled before quickly shoving him in to the window, and through it, holding him by the shirt as they both fell 30 stories or so, and on the way down, ozi pullled a stake from his jacket pocket, "Paralyzed, and the impact should be enough to kill a fledgling like you! "He yelled before shoving the stake in to the new vampire's chest.
((You really ought to give me a chance to react, to avoid, to counter, not kill me before Im even aware whats happenin, let me react))
It was Zekelaz not Jak that saw the attack coming, It as Zekelaz that had reacted to it, it was Zekelaz's turn and as the stake came at his chest he simply smiled, deeply looking into Ozi's eyes. A disembodied voice spoke to Ozi; "Your senses decieve you." Zekel said and then evaporated into nothing as the stake was a millimeter from his chest. Ozi continued the mad fall mere meters from and less than quarter of a second from the ground as it rushed up to meet him. Zekelaz re-appeared in the apartment. 'Handy,' Jak thought. 'Wonder whats left from him. Its only been three minutes, I was ment to have twentynine hours. Thanks!' Jak thought to Zekelaz. Jak then looked over the window ledge...
She held up her arm and showed him. "Another power of ours is healing. Depending on the wound and/or weapon we can heal almost instantly." She reached behind her back and made sure her katana was strapped correctly. "And as for the guns, you'll have to wait and see." She glanced at him and smiled. "Are you enjoying yourself?"
She looked over at him and frowned. "You're head still hurts does it? Hmm. We'll get that taken care of on the way. As for what I do-" She quickly glanced over her shoulder then looked back to him. "I protect someone very special to this city. Our 'prince' if you will. And our Ozi is plotting against him. I need to get back and inform my men of what may happen before it's too late.. Or before he finds me."
Jak arched an eyebrow. "You mean Ozi? Before Ozi finds you?" He looked geniunely concerned. "If we go to them then wont Ozi raelize this and follow us?" He stated as he remembered a classic shadowing manuver he screwed up in the military. then he was wipped for disgrace to the unit. He smiled at the memory daring it to remain. It vanished from his thoughts.
He remembered now and slapped his forhead. Dizzyness returned. He was still weak...and hungry he reminded himself. "Sorry." Jak said gently. "How long have you been a vampire?" He asked her in a soothing mannor as he continued walking. He didnt dare touch her, 'She'd probably tear my arms off.' He thought.
She sighed and nodded. "I guess so if you're in that big of a hurry. But I bet your not feeling to hot either." She put her hand on his shoulder and both appeared outside of the Princes room. "What were you saying back there? Something about Ozi?" One of her men came up and whispered something into her ear. She nodded and smiled. "Right on schedule then. Let him come."
