She frowned. "Not if I don't have to." She turned to the man. "Set everyone up in front of this door and the elevators." He nodded and rushed off. "Now let’s get your headache taken care of shall we?" She smiled and motioned for him to follow her. She led him to her bed room where she kept some spare cloths, weapons, and a refrigerator. “All I have is medical blood. And it’s cold. Sorry it couldn’t be warm.” She smiled and tossed him a bag.
One of the men lowered his weapon. "Is this the man she warned us about?" Another shrugged and spoke into a headset. "Captain, report from section nine, officer three. There is someone at the elevators. He claims to be looking for a job." She frowned. "Ask him his name." He nodded and looked to Ozi. "What's your name?"
"He claims his name is Jacob." She frowned and looked over at Jak. "Stay here. Don't come out no matter what you hear. I'll be back." She stepped out of her room and started off towards the elevators. "Don't let him pass until I get there." The one known as officer three nodded and raised his weapon. “Stay where you are the captain is coming to check you out.”
Jak waited in the room. He was rapidly getting bored. These men and this floor also reminded Jak of a military base his cousin had wrote him about ages back. Zekelaz spoke through his mind. 'Do not trust her, she is dangerous. Do not trust anyone yet. It is easy to decieve.'
'Well I trust her, she has been kind and tolerant thus far.' jak thought. He got no reply. "Am I going mad," He asked himself as he eyed the blood bag. AB- was inked on the side along with a serial number. The human jak didnt want to drink it. But he thirsted for it. It was driving him insane.
Zekel mentally laughed at Jaks resistance to the hunger as it ate him up. 'You will have to at somepoint.' He said. Jak's resistance had been incredibly strong but the hunger was winning. He stared at the pack. Hearing footsteps pass the door he paused for a moment before he began to explore the room. He found some cloth and a some medical equipment in one cupboard. His attention was drawn back to the pack as he smelled the slowly warming blood. Every cell in his changed body yearned for the red liquid. 'You will die if you keep this up, and me with you since we are one.' Zekelaz said mentally to him.
((Undecided))
Jak decided to try some but as he looked for a glass or beaker to pour it into he realised there wernt any. He looked at the pack like it was the scum of the earth. Eyeing it up. "S***! Here goes nothing." With the slight hesitation on Jaks part he gripped the pack and bit into it puncturing the plastic and sucked the bag of the red liquid dry. Some of the blood oozed down Jaks neck and the sides of his mouth. He threw the empty pack across the room leaving specks of blood splashing onto the ground. ((How should he feel?))
He felt the slow churning of energy as the blood circulated through each cell invigorating him. His body felt recharged somewhat and even the headache, although still there, eased its pressure. His eyes widened as he gained strength. He felt strong but at the same time vulnerable. He was still that human he had always been but deep down in his psyche a new Jak was emerging. Then he noticed something, Zekelaz was smiling; 'Enjoy that did you?' He conveyed mentally.
Jak replied aloud; "Yes...I have a question."
'I bet....go on?'
"Who are you?" Jak asked his mental roommate.
'I...am you, we are one, we are 'I'. I am you.' Zekelaz told Jak.
"But you are not 'me'." Jak said quietly. "You cant be...."
'But I am, I have always been in your subconscious, I am your mind but we alike have different personalities, sorry.'
Jak said no-more, he wopndered, instead, where Kiki was. And weather Ozi was this 'Jacob'.
