Shona turned her nose up, and scowled at him for a moment. He was in no place to complain about the advantages - or disadvantages - of being a half vamp. There were a few types she disliked. Those who were too proud, those who lacked pride alltogether, and those who had an excuse or a complaint about everything, and always had a blame to throw on someone. He was beggining to hit the third on the head. Shona sighed then. PErhaps it was too soon to judge. A soft smile crossed her face.
And maybe, Jovan, you just might have been right. Perhaps I am too judgemental." In my opinion, all of our kind should have a few more limits. "
Her eyes warmed again. He was a bit younger than herself, and she knew she could spare her understanding just a little more.
" Humans. "
The way he said it was a bit bitter, and she herself rolled the word around a bit to see if it held some hidden meaning.
" Well, I don't know if 'dislike' is the way to categorize it. It's moreso a sense of disrespect I feel. Of course, Every group has a few decent souls, doesnt it? "
her smile faded then. Someone was nearby. As the male spoke, Shona walked ahead, toward the younger girl who appeared to be hinding. She extended her hand to her, and smiled as she bent down.
" Hello..! "
((He's actually about 360 years old.))
Jacob finally made his decsion and began to concentrate as hard as he could. -In his head- "Father?" A voice resounded in his mind with a very heavy Russian Accent. "Jakob? Is it really you? Where have you been? This is Cousin Kain by the way." Jacob's eyes widened. He couldn't believe it, it was his greatest friend. "Kain! It's been ages. Where is father and what has become of Vincent?" A calm look fell over his face. "They are both out in Germany consulting with our distant family." Jacob looked excited. "I know it doesn't seem like the thing to do, but could you help this half-breed out?" Kain waited for a second. "What are you doing assisting a half human!?" Jacob looked confused. "I am a half-breed." Kain's started to laugh. "Jakob, you were born to your mother and father jus as Vincent was. Anyway I am on my way to assist you, I will see if I can recruit Vincent also." Before Jacob could even respond, the mental link was broken and he brought back into the real world.
Vrix nodded "i actually ment. Have you used one of these weapons before. The Dostevi will do me for now. I'm keeping the Desert Eagle for a, forgive the expression, rainy day." Vrix said. He then took the weapon from her gently, and placed it in a hidden conpartment within the drawer. Then shut and locked it. He turned back to Kiki. The Dostevi's were conviently camoflaged and fully loaded with eight full silver, compressed, hollow point rounds. Although, only six of the eight clips contain the premium, pure silver, hollowpoint bullet specifically designed to expand to the maximum degree while retaining the maximum weight and to fragment into the largest possible pieces and spead the silver about the victim if the bullet doesn't pass through the target first. This is to produce the most effective possible wound on the victim. It also means that the bullets are extremely reliable and effective against other vampires. Vrix told Kiki mentally. He then said. "I'm not hiding anything from you. Kiki, I really-" He paused. "I really dont know where Zike is- huh, dammit! Sorry, i ment Jak."
"I honestly dont know. When he ran I was doing research of techniques. I turned around and he was gone." (And I hate to break it to your character but if she keeps pushing she will get nothing but a knock out crystal to the head. Also the fact that im not entirely sure what happened is another factor.) Vrix relayed as much (refering to bit in brackets) through the look he gave Kiki., and he would do it to, he even started rolling the crystal he had taken from the draw before closing it, just in case Ozi was still hostile, between his fingers. "Please Kiki. I really dont know. If im hiding anything anything is the fact that Im hungry and want to get something warm and bloody to drink." He looked at the mechanical arm. "Let me guess: Benjii was the amputator and Ozi the surgeon?"
((By the way, Full Metal Alchemist is confusing, i bet you watch it though))
She sighed heavily and looked down at the crystal. “I understand you’re stressed out and I’m sorry for pushing you. But the name thing is bothering me. I’m just worried is all. Calm down and put the crystal away Vrix. I won’t push you any more.” She sat down on his bed and rubbed her eyes. “Damn you Jak..”
He sat in the corner of the bar, the shadows cloaking the majority of his face, though his gleaming ivory fangs were clearly visible in the dim candlelight. He leaned back, head against the wall, and partook of a small glass of crimson liquid, slightly thicker than a crisp red wine. The barkeep walked over and laid a stack of papers down before him. "That'll be all, Lucrecia, thank you." He leaned forward, poring over the papers, looking for a mark that might be slightly challenging. "Ah... Gotcha, love." He stabbed a knife through one and walked out, the chill night air cutting through him.
