Cerberus woke again, a room supplied to him by Vrix for the next few days feeling a bit uncomfortable as he was not used to so refined a setting. Outside was a city blanketed in snow, which meant that it had done some heavy falling since he last passed out... again. He seemed to be doing that a lot lately, and found it growing ever so annoying. His guns lay resting in the chair across the room, their holsters draped over the top of it. "Damn. In all my years, never would I have pictured myself allied with others..."
Benjii looked up at the sound of the voice and nearly fell over when he saw who it was. "i-i thought you died! i-i...i'm not in trouble my love...just can't copntrol this damned lycanthrope in me...but how did you come back....? how!?" he fell over crying blood tears and lauging at the same time. he got up and embraced stephanie and kissed with a love he hasn' felt for nearly two thousand years.
She laughed and kissed his neck. “How about we get something to eat first, hm? I have some shirts of yours in my suitcase from when we use to go on missions together.” She smiled and walked over to her closet to dig out his old shits.
Steph nodded and hugged him back, her own tears falling from her crystal blue eyes. “I know love. I can’t believe it either. I don’t know how, but I just woke up and here I was. A woman with red eyes was standing beside me. She handed me some clothes and told me to come find you.” She kissed him back and wiped the tears from his eyes. “Oh Benjii… I’ve missed you so much.”
''Thanks. Nah I just wanted to spend some of the cash in my bank account, I still get wired sums for the jobs I do. Thought it might be fun to go eat human food, get a drink, then check out this new Goth supertore I heard was opening." He sighed and pull on the white shirt Kiki handed him, he then looked at the suit case, jeans, he took out the only pair. After dressing he kissed Kiki's hand. "Shall we go? We could check in on Cerberus (but I dont expect him online) or Benjii."
"Yes, Jak." Vrix sighed. He had tried to forget the kid but he had grown on him. "Anyway what would you like to do?" He asked, skipping the subject of Jak and trying to be happy. A happiness he had not felt since his childhood, all those years ago. "That was nice, what you did for Benjii. I must get to know this Rebel." He remembered and removed the Desert Eagle from beneath his shirt. "Merry christmas Kiki. I know its early." He smiled and didnt even conceal the gun from passing human families. They didnt notice.
She looked down at the gun and grinned. “Well aren’t you sweet. When did you get that?” She smiled and kissed his cheek, taking the gun and looking it over. “I’m happy with store hopping. That goth store you were talking about sounds fun.” She smiled and put the gun in her coat pocket. “Thank you for the gun Vrix. I’ll have to repay you somehow.” She smiled and winked as she said that.

Vrix smiled. "Glad you like it." He hugged her. They walked past a fountain that had frozen over for the most part and had crystal blue water flowing into its large basin. He say on the icy edge. "The shop I speak of wont be open til around mid-day, so lets talk for a little while." He patted the stone step beside him. A Robin landed on Kiki's finger. "Cute birds huh, they can tell we arnt humans, heh!"
She smiled and put the bird on Vrix's shoulder. "Most animals can." She smiled and snuggled up to him. "What do you want to talk about hun?" She smiled and sighed heavily watching the people as they passed. A few were giving them weird looks as they passed. Who wouldn't if a guy had a wild bird on his shoulder.
