william was walked just behind the two he saw earlier when he heard what the younger vampire said..he tried not to react..he knew it wasnt him...sure, he was an old hand, and no doubt forgot an attack from time to time, but what was left of the anient vampire's sanity prevented him from doing it near a public holiday..but he knew who might have done it...an old friend, who had been turned ((i call it "sired" but whatever 😬)) the same time he had...
must be a coincidense william thought, but after 451 years as a vampire he knew there was no such thing as "coincidenses"
Benjii looked up at Stephanie's touch and at the sound of her voice. "that was Kiki...i'm trying to figure out why she still wants to help me...at first i tried to kill her and then....nevermind. but, but how did you become a creature of the damned? i tried so hard to prevent that from happening, to you, my family, and friends. i never wanted this to happen to you." he sighed and looked into her crystal blue eyes and thought out loud to someone. "thank you Kiki....but we still need to talk later."

She cursed and gripped the hilt of his blade. She let out a small scream as she pryed his sword from her thigh. She glared down at him, holding his own sword at his neck. She hadn't lost as much blood, but the pain was unbearable. Each move she made caused more blood to run down her leg. "Why the look? We're not friends. I did nothing to earn your trust."

"Because I was only going the barely knick you and you tried to kill me!" He spat at her, the loss of blood and the rain water in the wounds caused his speech to slur slightly. He looked nervously at her then at William. The figure watched on. He looked back at her holding his sword. ((Lets say we havnt mastered warping yet.)) He then shut his eyes. "End this if it is what you feel is right, if not then give me my sword back..." He trailed of as he became woozy.
She growled and raised the blade, meaning to end this ere and now. Something made her stop, her hand was shaking. With a scream she threw his sword to the ground. “Damn it! Damn it all! You’ve been such a thorn in my side for that past 10 years! Why can’t I kill you?!” She growled and started pacing in from of him, wondering what she should do with this man. She had almost forgotten the elder standing near.
Steph shook her head and hugged him again. "I don't know what happened. They told me nothing." She started crying again. "Thank you Kiki... Oh god thank you. I don't care if I'm a vampire. I'm just so happy I'm here with you again." She pulled away and wiped his smearing black from his cheek. "Oh Benjii... You haven't changed a bit."

He watched the sword stick into the mud and, using it as a brace he placed his weight upon it and stood up. He then peered through the downpour to see Kiki pacing. "It's because if you kill me, you lose that familiarity. You've always been alone, me too. It is this that binds us." The words came from Vrix as he leaned on his sword. We are tied to each other through some-" Lightening struck and the drenched cliff face he was on gave way to the storm. He fell, his gaze steadily on Kiki. He hoped he would die with the dignity that this fight had been his most honourable. He smiled. Falling backwards.
Just as he disappeared over the edge of the cliff her hand shot out and grabbed a hold of his wrist. She slowly began to slide towards the edge with him, the wet grass making it hard for her too keep from slipping. She put her free hand to her lips and whistled, her horse rounding the bend soon after. With her free hand she held on to his reins, using the animals weight to pull Vrix back up. The gash on her leg had ripped open from the strain. Her blood ran down her pants and onto the already red stained grass, mixing with Vrix’s blood.
She laid him down in a semi dry spot and pulled a blanket out of her saddle bag. She looked up at her horse and spoke in an unknown language. The stallion laid down behind Vrix, letting him lean against the creatures warm body. She put the blanket over Vrix and ripped his drenched shirt off. "Man... I really got you good." She smiled and pulled some dry bandages from her bag and began to wrap him up. "You're right... I guess we are tied to each other."
Benjii smiled and looked at her. "well except the make up yea...same dreads heh...but you look alot different...its the vampires curse i guess...changes appearences....but your the same Stephanie i fell in love with all those years ago." he sighed and wiped away the eye linear and the black lipstick. "sorry kinda got caught up in the 'gothic' scene....they have good taste in music." he smiled and kissed her again.
He winced but smiled. "In more ways than one," He nodded to the stream of rain and blood, the blood from them both. "You need attention your self." He spat at here, clearly in remorse that he had lost, suprised that Kiki had saved him.
Vrix smiled as the winter sun crept over the tree-tops. "We were young then but even at that time, we were friends and didnt even know it." The Robin twittered and fluttered onto Kiki's shouder. He smiled and caressed the tiny bird. It sang. Several people tossed the couple strange looks.

She laughed and kissed him back. "Yeah I was wondering why you were wearing lipstick. I thought you just kissed a drag queen or something." She sighed and just looked at him for a moment, taking him in from the dreads down to his boots. "Well. I guess I better get changed. Wouldn't want to run around in this ruined thing." She smiled and kissed him again. "I'll be right back hun."

She smiled and laughed softly. “I can wait... Yours is worse then mine.” She tied the ends off and moved to sit beside him. She was shivering from her drenched clothes, so she sat close to both him and her horse. “I um... I’m sorry.. For everything I did and said.”
She glared at the passers by, then looked over at the bird. “Such a sweet song.... I didn’t think you’d survive the night then. You’re wound was so bad and you had lost so much blood... I thought I was going to loose you.” She smiled and looked over at him.

She stayed in the room and watched him for a moment, inspecting his tight shirt from a far. Then she snuck off to the bathroom and quickly changed into the outfit Kiki had given her. When she walked out of the bathroom she hugged him from behind and kissed his neck. “I don’t think this outfit works for me. She smiled and snuggled up in his arms when he held her. It was nice cause she was tiny enough to fit perfectly, and she didn’t weigh very much so that made it even better. :3
