And after all, the prophecy says ONE of em can survive, the other one must die.

oh... i only hope they will both die, would be a great end... or harry dies and that soemthing mor wonderful and teribble than death happens to voldy =)

i really dont want harry to die just cuz i like him. but i think it would be more interesting if he did die. i know it is still a children's book, but i would like it not to be

since the 5th book, actually....

the 5th book, was way more complicated than the first or 2nd for example...
and when sirius died.......it was soo sad, and the whole story is so seriouness now, i really don't think this is still a children's book!

but if he dies, he'll probably be back as a ghost or a painting! hey, maybe it could be that painting of Harry which Dobby did & gave to him for x'mas? the one Fred or George said was a "very good likeness" of Harry? 😉

well, if there's one thing JKR's books did, is that it gave us a whole new perspective on death! 😑

yey, thats true, i dont think harry potter can die. the producer once said harry potter was a fairy tale. I think he was right, and what was a fairy tale without the happy end?

hmm, i dunno! i think he'll die, but i hope he won't, 'cause then is not all hope lost, she don't write more.

AHHHHH no harry is not dying sorry nope I won't let him kill draco or something but not harry I mean what would be the point in introduing him to the wizarding world? I see none sorry....

right now, i don't have so much feelings thinking of harrys death (except that there won' be any continuing books) but i guess, while i read it, i'll get really sayd... ;(

i think that harry will die eventually caus then it leaves no temptation for JKR to return to the books after the 7th.

Okay, I think Voldemort will die, and thats it. None of the other main character' swill die. A lot of other people might though. Not students from hogwarts, teachers, or those members of the prder that have become important - Lupin, Moody, Tonks etc. I highly doubt Snape will die either.

Neville will not kill Voldemort. Take the prophercy at face value! Harry or Voldemort must kill the other. This is because Voldemort attacked Harry when he was a baby, choosing him, and marking him as equal.

The power Harry has a lot of is what the sealed room in the ministry is full of. I think it's love, since Dumbledore said Harry's heart saved him.

At the end, somehow Harry and Voldemort will get into a duel one on one. Or, the complete opposite, Harry will be on one side of a big battle and kill him somehow, like by accident.

Plus if JKR keeps writing it'll be like, erm, some series which has run out of flare but keeps coming along... 😉

Yeah I'm sure Neville plays a larger part, but not a HUGE part.

hey guys, new here, but i love harry potter, so just thought i'd put in my two cents worth! I don't think harry will die...either must die in the hands of the other, doesn't that kinda make you think that just one of them will die, and not both? and i don't think there is any way that the books could end w/ harry dying and voldemort living. besides, if harry does die, i will be quite upset, i've grown quite attached to him!

I dont really like harry as a character, but i doubt JKR will make him die. it wouldnt make much of an ending. harry dying and voldy takin over the world. doesnt seem like it would happen. oh and, welcome iluvorlando!

hey thanx pip-foot! well, i have a quick question thats totally off the subject, so just bear w/ me! 🙂 i kinda want to change my user name, not that i don't love orlando, CUZ I DO! but, i feel kinda stupid talking about anything BUT orlando (for example harry potter), so, my question is, is there any way to change my user name? or to get another?......but besides that.... why don't you like harry as a character? I mean, given hes kinda cranky in the fifth book....but, just wondering what your reasons were.
