how about if we had another subject ?
how about.... if you recall the night when voldemort came back, when harry told dumbeldor and sirius that voldemort could touch him now since he had used his blood, dumbeldor said that he has overcome this barrier. what are the other possible barriers that we don't know about, other than the blood connection between harry and petunia and the prophecy?? there must be something else that we have overlooked
Here's my theory on how Harry will end up killing Voldemort. I think Harry will have to sacrifice himself to kill Voldemort. Someone earlier mentioned the connection between the two and that if one is alive the other cannot die. That was a really good idea. I can see that happening. Harry has to sacrifice himself in order to destroy the evil that is Voldemort, much like Neo does in the Martix in order to destroy Smith, and much like Christ did for his people. This theme is very cliche, but interesting in this case since many Christians have opposed this book so much since it deals with witchcraft. What does everyone else think?
neither do i,
like iv said before, the prophesy actually saiy "either must die", so that doesnt mean both of them.
also, i think that as its a childrens book that the main character wont die, i think one of the others will tho in the battle, personally, i dunno why, but im expecting dubledore to die, like to sacrifice himself to volde so that harry has the anger to kill him.
i also think that there is a possibility that JK wil write another book after the series, just as harrys life afterschool.
but then these are just my theories. i could be (and probably am) wrong 😛

I didn't say that all Christians hate the books. I am Christian, and I think the books are brilliant. However, there is much controversy surrounding the books coming from hardcore Christians, who oppose anything that does not match the bible. That's all I meant. Anyway, everyone does bring up a good point about the prophecy. It does say "neither can live while the other survives," so both will not necessarily die. However, I believe that Rowling is aiming for the "savior" theme. Imagine...the great Harry Potter sacrifices himself in order to rid the world of the evil Voldemort who wants to kill all muggles and all those who are not of pure blood. Therefore, he saves everyone from a horrible life and potential destruction of the world. I could very well be wrong, but I would not be surprised if this happened. I would be sad, but not surprised.
