i agree. i know that they dont like the series but i dont go up 2 them and make fun of them(but i still laugh because of the burning books incident but i dont mean any offense. i just laugh because they'r burning their own money. hope i didnt offend any1). if thats what they believe, thats what they believe. however, i do hate it when they question me and try 2 change my opinion on it. my friend is a strict christian and she kept pushing me about it. thats when i start getting annoyed. i dont like getting pushed and if i wanna switch opeions, i'll do it on my own.
(Rina's best friend here) While some Christians object to these books, its not necessarily a view that all Christians hold. I think that as long as we are able to differenciate between what's real and what's not (ie witchcraft and magic) then its okay to read them. My youth leader actually runs her own Harry Potter Fanfiction site, and she's a pretty strong Christian. I have to say, I dont know anyone who's ever burt their books... unless you count the girls who burnt their maths books at the end of last year 😉
😄
in answer to sumthin sum1 said about it being catholics not christians that burnt the books, catholics are christians 😄
and i also agree with li........ like normal......... there is gona be harry left at the end, its a kids book, they cant go around learning that evil wins........
good will win, cuz then that teaches kids that good is the right thing to do..... that make sense? (sorry, iv been doing media again) 😮
