"Not much, Ballard," Mors says, stopping. "Just remembering my crew. How is your's? Haven't talke with you in awhile. Anyone died or killed an Agent?" Mors asked with a chuckle.

"Bro, you ain't never going to change," says Ballard. "You got to get over that shit! Same old daily haul for me. Good catch last time out though. We'are ALL getting good catches."

(Catches as in freeing minds and killing squidies, right?)

"You're probably right on two of those. I need to get over it, but my mind won't let me. The whole thing has seriously screwed with my mind. Dragon and Shell were some damn good warriors, they should never be forgotten."

"Good to hear it, though, Ballard."

(Who's on his crew?)

Ppecifically freeing minds, he meant.

Other than Bane, I can only remember Ice. Maybe Corrupt too.

"Hey, man, we all of us lost friends out there!" says Ballard. "They all knew the risks. If you told them they were going to die on the job, would they have decided never to fight? Hell no, they'd have done their job like the rest of us! Give the machines shit back for all the shit they did to us! You got yourself back, man, and that's more than most. We've lost whole ships and everyone on them before! That says a lot about you. And don't think anyone thinks it would have been better if you had died with your men or gone down with your ship- that bull ain't got nothing to do with real life! You're here, where we need you, and where your men would have wanted you!"

*a bored Burn wanders into the bar*
wonder who ill see there?

"You're right, Ballard, as usual. I still remember my crew, despite all those reasons. I give the machines more shit than the shit they gave me anyway. Freeing minds or killing them, that's how it all works."

"Well, until somebody on the Council decides I deserve another chance at Captainship, I'm serving on the Shaharazad with Captain Dallas."

"What do you think Commander Locke is talking with the Council about? Hopefully my reinstatement as Captain, right?" Mors chuckled. Despite his sorrowful past and sorrowful hacker name, he was a happy person.

(Ush: you realize that Ballard staying behind to await contact with the oracle would never coincide with the Osiris being in Dock, as the Osiris was destroyed before reloaded...)

Errr, not sure what you are saying there, Jedi. I wasn't saying that was happening NOW, I was helping BB identify who Ballard is from the film. All that Reloaded stuff won;t happen for months yet!

I think a couple of other players are in the bar, Burn... cannot remember who though!

Ballard chuckles.

"Nah, man. And hey, you got a good spot as Dallas' first. Shez is a fine ship! Anyway, word is that the Percy's blown open something big, big enough for it to come back in person to report it and ask for someone to follow it up. Locke's going manic. Best news we've had in ages, he says. If you don;t count Neo, of course..."

"Oh, I count Neo, even though I still haven't heard details about what happened exactly on that voyage. Trinity batted everyone away from him, and, as usual, Morpheus is hard to find."

"What do you think they found?"

"It'll be something to do with system security," says Ballard. "Locke's entire strategy recently has trying to work out what the machines gonna do about us now we're hitting 'em."

"No doubt there'll be some retaliation from them. If I was under attack, I wouldn't sit."

"That's just the thing," says Ballard. "They don't seem to be doing anything, so we reckon they are planning something big. Percy was working on that, though what they were actually doing only Locke and the Council knows."

"I wonder if that damned Commander would share anything with me..." Mors wonders to himself. "He's very into his job though..."

"What have you heard about the whole Neo thing?"

"Aww, hell, I don't know shit about that, bud! Morpheus is going to do with that kid what he is going to do, I'm just gonna enjoy the ride..."

"Indeed. Morpheus is very big on his journey to find the One, and apparently he thinks he's found him. I just want to know why..."

"But as long as Neo is good, I am perfectly happy."

Ush> Ah, ok, i got confused when you said Ballard is the one that stays behind to talk to the oracle...

😂 Confusing, isn't it? 😛

Alex walked around in circles.

join me in the bar anyone?

*walks into the bar* Hey, Burn, how are things going so far? Enjoying your time off, back home here in Zion? *gestures to bartender* I'll have a beer. *turns back to Burn* Anything interesting happen lately?
