USH'S MATRIX GAME- Zion play thread.

Bah, too much time spent reloading, I reckon.

Ok, so, post-mortem time.

First, Marduk wants to open the floor to comments from the two teams, and the Captains especially, about what they thought went right and wrong and what was learned.

Secondly, Marduk spots the white lead of Burn's ipod and double-takes.

"This is supposed to be a simulation of actual conditions in the field," he says. "You can't load that into the Matrix!"

"And why not?"

"Did your brain go on vacation?" yells out Dallas from about a distance of six inches, which is where he had quietly strolled up behind you. "They didn't exist!"

"Well, as always, we need to work more at paying attention to what other people are doing and coordinating what we're doing..."

"Well, I guess I'm not changing my tactics after all," Ares comments. "A MAC10 and a bunch of clips and I'm good to go..."

"I wasn't killed. I guess that means I did something right, eh?" Hawk grins.

"I suppose that counts for something..."

Ok, is everyone happy about how the turrets worked?

Shoot at the guardian (or turret itself), they shoot you, correct?

Stupid-ass things...

Indeed, pretty sure that's how they worked. Otherwise I would have had Ares and Burn laying down fire on Zuban to help out Melkor...

"You win this time, San..." Mors says, patting her on the shoulder after the simulation ends.

"Told you I was fit for duty." Cloud says grinning, "A win on your first mission in command, and a very good job at it too" Cloud says to San.

Yup; those of you from the original game might just remember that only those without guns went to see Ni Zahn, and hence ended up fighting his heavies, who were kinda re-created for this.

The guardians were not there to be shot at, and so were appropriately covered. Of course, the turrets defended themselves as well.

Yeah, I remembered Zuban and the Go brothers from that, Lee I did not though.

There was the Knifey fellow that took me down, but Lee seemed to replace him.

His name is actually from Takeshi's Castle...

Interesting source to steal stuff from!

I've only ever seen one episode from that show, bleedin' hillarious 😄
There were hundreds of people trying to run up a detergent-covered slide-wall with 'soldiers/guards' trying to take out the pieces of paper attached to their 'attackers' heads with water-rifles...

As in MXC Tashai's castle?
Burn Giggles...
"Heh, oops... But anyway, what would happen if I DID do that?"

Yeah, same show 😛
