Why wait until today to enter, really? I do find it frustrating when people do that.

Damn I should have started earlier as i haven't done anything to submit and kept starting again. 🙁 I am going to give this one a miss. I feel bad about it, but I guess there is always a next time. 🙁

Fair enough, in that case it's unfortunate. But so many people use that as an excuse and if you've got writer's block then I can't see you submitting a short story before the deadline 😬

I've been in situations like this, I'm sure I can pull through. And this isn't some excuse either, I haven't been able to write much lately

I'm far too lazy to post something this time.
I might keep it and post it for another contest.

My writer's block kicked in the last minute

Erm, we're gonna have some time, right? I probably won't be finished judging till the end of the weekend.

Yeah ditto...well, until Monday for me. I've got a birthday party to go to this weekend (my friend's 21st).

It'll probably take about a week as it is.

It's officially September. I guess we're good to go with submissions. Seems like a lot less than the original number that signed up, but I'd rather read good entries than ones that were rushed simply to meet the deadline.

Same here. Quality beats quantity, in this case. 😉

That's one of the reasons why I didn't submit mine besides the fact that I didn't submit it. It was rushed and I wouldn't want to share something that I had rushed.

I'm a tad busy as I'm getting ready to go off to college...well, junior college near my house... ermm But yeah, still busy, nonetheless.
