USH'S GAME EPISODE I- "AVALAR"- Light Side (Lance Windu, Gundark, Phinney)

Started by Ushgarak46 pages

There were only four people inside, so bledning is tridcky; however, security is not particularly tight. They don't seem to have considered the possibility that anyone would bypass the cable car.

Suddenly, you feel a presence, a presence you have not felt in sometime... wait! Firemaster! He IS here! You can feel his mind clearly now. He must be close by!

As far as you can tell, there are living quarters on one side of this upper area, and somethung more secure on the other. You can also clearly see a small, exclusive landing pad up top with two ships parked there.

The people near you have moved towards their living areas; you are about to follow so as not to be conspicuous when something strikes you as wrong.

EVERYONE has left. You are the last person left here. That can't be right...

While her sense of Firemaster was quite clear, her sense of danger was much more urgent. I have a bad feeling about this... Gundark thought grimly as she moved quickly along the corridor towards the secured area, away from the living quarters. She resisted the urge to take sabre in hand, not wanting to present an aggressive posture to whomever she encountered.

It is deathly silent here now, and someone is waiting for you down the corridor you wished to traverse.

He is dressed in traditional military uniform, and wears a pelisse (a jacket worn like a cloak with an arm through one sleeve) over it all. His smart jacket and trousers are blue, and he wears black cavalry boots.

His fair hair is braided down the sides of his head in a style you have seen before; the warriors from the constellation of Tasker's Crown wear their hair like that. Tasker's Crown is renowened for its superb soliders.

He looks every inch the military commander.

"Master Gundark," he says, matter of a factly, before he starts to remove his pelisse.

Gundark slowed her step, studying the man's face. "Do I know you?" she queried.

"Not really," he says. "But at the Temple I knew the name and face of every Master."

Wait... he IS the man who gave you those records!

Your neck hairs are bristling,. You don't need to be a Jedi to tell that this person is EXTREMELY dangerous, And now you look at it, he is removing that pelisse them same way you would remove your cloak before a fight.

He drops his pelisse to one side, revealing a sleek black sabre handle attached to his waist. He draws it and ignites a purple blade. Keeping his sabre at a low angled guard, he quickly moves in towards you without another word...

Ok! Gundark is also now in a lightsabre fight. As always, Gundark now moves to a seperate thread that I will create shortly to handle that fight, and then will return here when the fight is over.

EDITED: Apologies, Phinney, but you;ll have to tell me which ship to are trying to get on.

Phinney appears to be trying to escape the planet. But I will tell you guys right now, he can't use JO's ship that you came on, because it has stopped existing...

EDITED: Irrelevant for now.

Gundark's sabre fight is over.

Her opponent (who is indeed Kuylen to judge from the sdesription Gundark got earlier) has proven an impossobly strong opponent, even for the Master, a dark warrior of unheard of power and strength. Gundark fought desperately well at every turn to avoid being killed.

But even as he presses home his attack, fate intervenes. Pirate security guards have filled the concourse. At first it looks like they are blocking Gundark's escape, but they have something far less expected in mind. Kuylen stops his fight as Security Chief Hade and his bodyguardsenters the room, and Gundark here's the sound of fighting from the room beyond,"

"Kill them both," says Hade, and the assembled guards fire on everyone.

Gundy, Kuylen disappears in a sudden blur, With your superior senses, you know he has force-jumped upwards onto one of the upper balconies. Meanwhile, there is a LOT of fire coming at you...

MOD NOTE FOR FIREMASTER-

Sorry yo hear your troubles. I am sure you are itching to jump in and help Gundy at this point., However, as you know, last we saw you you were WITH Hade. Therefore, before you join back in we will have to see what you two got up to before Hade came back to the Concourse.

*Phinney walks around a Dark Dark corner* Apperently he has sensed something fo the darkside here.

Well, Phin, it's an absolute nightmare around here. You;ve been alying low and watching for a while, and now it appears that at least two pitched battles have bropekn out, one at the top of the base- where you are currently unable to reach- and one lower down, over by the bars. The battles seem to be between pirates and Jedi; the pirates seem keen to kick all of you out of the base. Several times you have hidden from hunter squads now roaming the base, wondering where the best time to fight is.

You do not know where your friends are; you have all become seperated. Last you knew, Naster Gundark was heading upwards, so that must be her fighting up there now.

One thing you have found out greatly alarms you. At some point in the confusion, your ship has been destroyed! Blown to pieces from the inside. Damn! This is going to make life more difficult...

Meanwhile, with yerssot...

His fight is now over. Confused emotions and his wound counted badly againt him, but his fight was also prematurely ended by the intervention of the pirates, onnorders of Hade. Yerssot is trapped on the rooftops with Quam and about fifty hostile pirates, led by Arashan, Pelloran's personal killer and the man with the repeater rifle who shot yerssot earlier.

Yerssot, Arashan seems to be concentrating on Quam, which is good. The pirates are concentrating their fire on you, which is bad. Time for quick thinking!

Yerssot and Quam, standing next to each other... good and evil... both concentrating on the guards...
The knight Force-jumps backwards with a double salto, screaming to Quam:
"Try to use the second sabre as a throwing object!"
When he lands again he ignites his sabre, now having time to see the blasts coming to him... the few guards that got to close by running towards him to have a better shot got a Force-blinding... and again he jumped away, and again and again...

If the dark one heard you, he makes no response to it. He desperately jumps away from Arashan's fire, deflecting a few bolts before jumping neatly off the rooftops out of the line of fire. Arahsan and others go to hunt for him.

yerssot, there is a LOT of fire landing all around you... one of these bolts will hit home, and you are already bleeding...

Gundark knew she had a better chance of getting down in the cable car than the way she had come up, in that damn air shaft. She envisioned a thermal detonator rolling down the shaft after her, courtesy of a bemused pirate. She deftly deflected blaster bolts from the overwhelming throng of guards, working her way back through the concourse toward the control room for the cable car. Amazingly, the car had returned to the upper level during her battle with Kuylen and was empty. At the moment.

She Force flipped over a group of five pirates, rolled into the control room and Force flicked the car control stick into the run postion. She then slammed her sabre into the console and managed to lock the mechanism so it couldn't be stopped from the control room. A blaster bolt whizzed past her ear and she ran for the cable car which was already moving, dove unavoidably through a glass panel and landed hard on the floor of the car.

Seeing the moves of the Dark Jedi, Yerssot decides to do the same...
he jumps of the roof and starts running towards the hangar...

Gundark, some shots thud into the cable car as it starts to descend but thankfully the controls remain intact. Damn kt, though, you cannot help feeling vulnerable here.

You look up above you- and see Kuylen in the concourse. He has jumped up to a balcony.

It's an amazing sight. Kuylen simply strolls, unhurriedly, along the balcony. A hundred or more shots have come at him but he seems ready for each one long before it comes, and is always in the right position to block it, and between these deflections he quickly jabs into the nearest pirate. Pirates are falling dead in a line as he walks along the balcony; it is almost obscene.

Then suddenly, he leaps down off the balcony, with a grealt contrasting speed to his leisurely stroll along it. He lets out a grunt as he does so. He drops out of your view but you hear a furious series of sabre blows and the screams of the people he is fighting. You see a pirate propelled at great speed off the side of the volcano.

Then your sense draws your attention to something even more alarming. Two pirate fighters are banking around the side of the volcano, and are making an attack run on the cable car!

-

yerssot, you are attracting more firepower than you could comfortably imagine outside a full scale war. You jump over the pirates and roll painfully onto the ground below.

Security forces are all over; at the end of alleyways, and the tops and bottoms of ladders... you need a plan...
-

"Guess mindbending is out of the question here..."
yerssot said... letting his mind work at 200%

(give me few minutes here Ush, I don't know what to do now...)

Just to lay out some of your options to you:

1. You can try and fight your way back outside to your ship and hope it works
2. You can try and sneak/run back to the port and escape in the crowds
3. You can try and fight it out; risky but not impossible; you ARE a Jedi. You don't have to kill ALL of them, just enough to escape.
4. You can try a covert method of moving around- maintenance shafts, air vents and the like. Remember, there may be a lot of these people but they are just pirates; security here is appalling
5. You can try and find your fellow Jedi. But that rather depends on threm as well as you.

after a split-second of thinking he decides...

he walks cassually to the exit of the alleyway...
making sure that his wound is not to be seen, and the same with his lightsabre...

"Excuse me here for a moment..." he begins talking to them...
When he got there attention, he moves his hand from his side to his leg... very casually, not letting anyone know that he is manipulating them with the Force...
"Can I pass?"

There are four guards there.

"That's the one!" they say, raising their weapons...
