USH'S GAME EPISODE I- "AVALAR"- Light Side (Lance Windu, Gundark, Phinney)

Started by yerssot46 pages

Calmly Yerssot walks towards the remaining parts; he is ready to help those in need...
he gets closer to the place of the accident...

Hmm... you have a small logical problem here, yerssot. The volcano is very steep and climbing it tricky- the guy on the speeder is having to go flat out to make any progress at all. There is also the drop down to the surface of the volcano- the cable car station is a fair way aboive the ground.

Still, COULD be done, with enough effort...

I keep one hand on my saber and keep my eyes and ears open
then I ask the guard: "do I just have to follow this concours to get to the down level?"

expressed myself wrong

Yerssot stops and looks up, just like some other people that are astonished by the events...
but the knight keeps his eyes and ears "in action"

"Oh yeah," says the guard. "This corridor will lead you straight there..."

-

yerss, difficult to tell you what happens on the volcano until Gundy posts more.

as I walk next to the guard, I stop and crouch down and start to fittle at my boots
I tell the guard he can go on and I'll catch up with him.
as he moves on and is in front of me
then I quietly walk up behind him and use the back of my lightsaber to knock him KO
-if this shouldn't work for some reason-
I'll just have to slice him up :-)

No sweat- as a combat Master you specialise in this sort of thing, and soon the guard is in a crumpled heap in front of you.

Well, you can explore the myraid corridors of the upper area, you can head up to the top of the volcano (where the exclusive landing pad is), or you can head over to the Concourse.

I'm gonna head up to the exclusive landing pad
(maybe I can find a ship or a transport vehicle to take me outta here)

Ok (though I will remind you that your own ship still works fine, which is more than can be said for the other LS players).

That does actually mean heading to the Concourse first, then heading up instead of down. Shouldn't be TOO hard to find though...

NOTE TO ALL PLAYERS: yerssot has started to use the 'Light SIde players please read' thread as a place for general comms between light side players. Fair enough. If you want to discuss things, head over there and check it out; if you think that is cheating then, of course, don't. I'll leave it up to you.

okie I'll try to find it cause I think an extra ship could always be handy, maybe I'll find some evidence of pirate activity and maybe I'll find some reason why the cable car blew up

Upon reaching the concourse, you stop.

The scene before you is one of utter devastation. At least fifty dead bodies- all ex-pirates- lie around you with deep sabre cuts through them. This has been some sort of slaughter.

More disturbingly, the floor appears to have been... crushed? by something. The outer parts of the floor are weak and think, the mass of the metallic surface has been drawn into a vast mass on one side of the large room, an ungainly heap of twisted metal with several limbs sticking out of it.

If you didn't know better, you would say someone had used the Force to affect the floor so... but you have never seen such raw power outside the most adept of the Jedi Masters. Technically, someone wioth a high MC count could do this, but not with control, and it would be very dangerous... hmm... indeed, control is what seems to be missing from this thing. VERY odd...

Meanwhile, you can see the remnants of the cable car from here. You can see down the side of the volcano. and you can see five pirate fighters strafing somethng down there. One is pouring laser bolts into the wreck of the cable car, now fallen. Two more are shooting at a yellow speeder that is tearing its way up the mountain. As you wacth, the speeder head to the wreckage of the cable car to use as cover.

You're not sure, but you think someone else is down there as well.

I stay very mindful of the living force cause this seems a bit off
I look for a means of transport I can use to get down
if I can not find anything I'll run back and use the concourse to get down

Basically, with the cable car mechanism destroyed, there is no absolutely safe way down the volcano.

The guy who has the speeder has the right idea, but there are no speeders parked up top.

If you could make the jump down- and you probably could, though it would hurt even with your powers- you could 'walk' down it, but it's very steep and would be more of a fumbling run with risk of falling.

If you had some climbing gear you could slowly rapelle down it- the general Jedi utility belt prohably has what you need. But then there are those bloody fighters taking pot shots at things...

I'm gonna use the gear to get down
the fighters will prolly be busy with the speeder
- I hook myself up-
say: "here goes nothing"
and start rappeling down as fast as I can

Gundy- well, you seem to be alive... here is what is going on.

Your right leg is somewhat injured; you don't know how bad and it is not bleeding.

You are in effective cover right now with bits of the cable car and its mechanism above and around you. The fighters are strafing all over the place.

The yellow speeder is coming towards you VERY fast, still dodging the fire of the fighters.

And you think you can see someone starting to climb his way down the volcano up top, using some climbing gear... you THINK you recognise him...

Despite briefly blacking out on her descent, Gundark had enough presence of mind to bend the Force into a slowing motion so she didn't end up as a permanent part of the volcano. The ground met her hard enough anyway as her left leg took her full weight and twisted badly. She grimaced in pain, grabbing her knee with one hand and noticing the speeder bearing down on her, igniting her lightsabre with the other. She was utterly drained, from the duel with Pelloran in the concourse above and her narrow escape from the cable car. Unfortunately it seemed this was not a convenient time to collapse as the driver of the speeder seemed intent on cutting her in two......

(Two notes- ok, if Gundark wants her LEFT leg to be hurt, and not her right, then that is fair enough. Second, of course, it was Kuylen she fought, not Pelloran. Just to keep that clear for folks)

Ok, FM and yerss, you both clearly see the flare of a ;ightsabre blade being activated on the mountain- a small prick of light from your position, but enough to alert you to a member of your party being there. The sabre colour is Gundy's (sorry, Gundy, what colour is your sabre?)

Meanwhile, Gundy, something that might make a duel difficult right now is all those bloody fighters still strafing everything in sight...

"what's that ????could it be a saber???, most likely but what other jedi could be here?????": I thought
"altho I did feel a strong force presence" "with whom have I got a good connection and has that kind of saber colour???" "could be gundy"

What in the living Force????
Yerssot pulls out big eyes...
Then he concentrates on the being with the lightsabre, although his powers are limited he tries to see who it is... he thinks it is Master Gundy...
With all the powers he has, he tries to touch the person with the Force in an attempted to speak to her...

I don't believe you know Gundy, yerssot. Even if you did, she's barely in a position to even feel Firemaster, let alone yourself.

Talking of which...

Yeah, FM, that is DEFINITELY Gundy. You can feel her clearly.
