USH'S GAME EPISODE I- "AVALAR"- Light Side (Lance Windu, Gundark, Phinney)

(Sorry for the poor post, Ush..it was a long weekend. Give a Jedi a break, eh ? And my sabre is green as in my sig)

While it appeared the speeder was certainly heading in her direction, Gundark decided she would have a better chance of trying to stay hidden from those damn fighters without the light of sabre giving away her location. She tried to wiggle her way down the slope of the volcano, amidst the minimal cover of boulders strewn in her path, lifting her head to keep an eye on the speeder. Trouble was, every time the fighters let loose with another round of laser fire, it stirred up another avalanche of loose debris which threatened to take her to the foot of the volcano with it.

Inching along on her elbows, dragging her wounded leg, Gundark was aware of a faint presence in the Force at the edge of her perception.....

Emotionless Yerssot stands there, not certain if his guess was correct, ... it could even be a Dark Jedi for all he saw...
He desided to stand on his place so he wouldn't be noticed by the guards...

NOTE- Slight pausem people, as we wait on queeq. No matter which way I slice it, that speeder is going to do whatever it wants to do next before any of the rest of you, so we'll have to wait and see.

Oooh! Twist time!

Gundy, the yellow speeder pulls up alongside you. Inside is a tall man, with a serious expression. Two lightsabres hang from his belt, and a large, automatic blaster is strapped to his side. He makes no effort to reach any of his weapons. He gets out and looks you over.

"Hello, Gundark," he says...

When Yerssot saw that things went wrong, he runned towards the vulcano, he concentrated on the Force to make one of the biggest jumps he ever made...
He jumped and grabbed himself onto the vulcano, quickly climbing towards the two persons...

Gundark leaped to her feet, trying to ignore the pain stabbing down her leg. While her Jedi senses told her to assume a defense posture, the man had not drawn a weapon. Her lightsabre remained in its place as she studied the driver of the speeder. "Do I know you ?" she asked carefully.

You land heavily on the rock, yerss. Well, you can be pretty sure that LOTS of people saw that! You start to climb quickly, but it all seems to be taking too long...

Seeing that is my friend gundy in trouble
I rush down as fast as I can
"damn this isn't going fast enough, could I use the force
to levitated myself down there???, I wonder??"

The handomse figure smiles, Gundark, and looks, causally, at the foigures approaching at both sides of the volcano. "You should," he says. "Too bad I can't stay." You feel a build up of power from him. "But maybe soon..."

With amazing speed, he spins, firing a volley of bolts from his blaster at BOTH approaching figures! He keaps onto the speeder as he fires.

"Maybe soon..." he repeats, before he shoots off.

Yerssot and FM_ you are being fired at! Nothing too dangerous, it;s more to slow you down. That;s quite a weapon that guy carries! It causes rock to shatter and crumble all around you!

You can both clearly see Gundy. FM, a LITTLE further down and you think you can leap down a gully to get to her.

seeing that gundy is out of trouble I rush down as soon as I can but I do it safely

Ok, everyone should know that the fighters are making another attack run on the mountain-side! There are six of them, now. The speeder is a target as well as you guys.

Looking very carefully, yerssot decides to speed it up...
He remembered Obi-Wan telling a bit of his fight with a mysterious man, he said that he pushed himself of the wall and jumped up in order to kill the attacker...

Yerssot decides to do that himself...
He pushes himself of the wall and at the same time, he uses the Force jump to get higher up...

As the speeder shot away, Gundark's mind whirled with questions. The stranger plainly knew her; that much was obvious. His presence in the Force had left behind a deceptive mist through which her senses nearly penetrated, yet she could not put a finger on his identity. But his power she had felt was cold with the Dark Side and there was no mistaking that.

The incoming fighters broke into her thoughts. She recognized one of the two figures approaching her from the summit as FireMaster. But survival preceded all, and she cast about for some cover other than the boulders strewn about, which could become, in her mind, just as quick a death as laser fire.

(FM, you can reach Gundy at your leisure- but you may want to do something about that little avalanche queeq's firing caused, or risk injury. Yerssot, you will take longer to reach Gundy but the same applies about the rocks.)

Hmm. Well, there is the cable car wreckagel But you can't stay there forever, and you are not sure how long it would last, anyway.

There are plenty of crevices. But they won't actually help you get anywhere.

All you can see, aside from, that, is the bare mountainside, the two stations either side, and the solid cable car mechanism above- complete with gap in the middle, of course.

Yerssot is still making his jumps, now for defence of the shots he starts to jump diagonal... still getting closer to the one that he thought was in trouble...

Damn it! That blaster- which fired at a ridiculous rate- has caused a surprising chain reaction of rockfalls, that is now threatening to sweep you offg the mountainside, yerss!

FM, you have a similar problem. The blaster fire has made your descent EXTREMELY hazardous. The whole place could give way at any moment!

ok then I get down as fast as I can and risk getting injured
-I can't stay up here forever you know !!-

As he sees the rocks falling he yells towards the persons above:
"Hey there! Look where you throw those!"
In the hope they could here it...
In the meantime he jumped to the left, not going winning attitude with this but just for not getting hit...

Phinney is dodging stuff every which way!

The yellow speeder shoots around the side of the mountain. You guys are ok... for NOW... and now the fighters are coming.

Phin- there is a lot of interest in the people on the volcano, which is taking the heat off you, but you're going to need some sort of plan...
