USH'S GAME EPISODE I- "AVALAR"- Light Side (Lance Windu, Gundark, Phinney)

(ok, tell me if I got this one right: the DJ's are cleaning the fighters that are attacking us?)

Yerssot grabs the joystick harder, he swoops around his ax, to his left, he keeps doing this but he also goes with his joystick in a full circular motion from left-under to... well, he keeps doing it 🙂

No- they are protecting their own corvette. They HAVE torpedoed the pirate cruiser, but that's because THEY are trying to get past it as well.

(distance to cruiser, time to it, fighters around us please)

Abut one minute from the cruiser, 30 seconds from the range of its smaller guns.

There are still ten fighters attacking you.

Gundark picked her targets carefully, saving the photon torpedoes for the big topside guns on the cruiser. One fighter exploded and she winged another, sending it spinning toward the corvette.

Lance,"if you need me to jump in that other gun turret just let me know. You already have the coordinates for the jump."

The ship rumbles heavily as an accurate shot from the cruiser thuds into it. Gundy, you don't like the look of the shields on the front-left quarter.

The second wave of torpedoes slam into the cruiser, giving it a visible shake. Then the other two fighters fly past you, buzzing your ship at close range.

Gundy, you feel a presence... sensing the thoughts of the Dark warrior you met while climbing down the volcano, on the yellow speeder... he's reaching out to you... and then his ship is gone by.

The fighters, out of range of the cruiders anti-fighter guns, both fire another salvo of warheads at the cruiser, and the double back on themselves again to re-engage the pirate fighters.

Twenty enemy fighters remain.

"Keep an eye on those shields, Lance," Gundark called out to him. She took aim at another incoming fighter and watched it blaze into a brief fireball. She felt a passing presence in the Force, barely recognizing it as her unknown opponent back on the volcano. The feeling left her cold and uneasy. "Yerssot, we're going to try a feint. Move to attack position then pull under and around the cruiser at the last possible second." She tried to urge the young Knight with some encouragement. "I know you can do it."

Yerssot smiled,
"Do or do not, master Gundark, there is no try.
And we will see if your trust pays off."
A big grin came on his face.
The young knight pushed a few buttons,
lights lit, at the same time the command "Attack mode" was on the main screen.
The shields did a great job with re-generating themselfs.
"Let's get this one blown away"
While he was in an attack run, he still made evasive maneuvers.

Your torpedoes are locking on now...

Shooting down another fighter is welcome, but now you are close to the cruiser you are being raked with fire. Yerss, you feed more power into the front-left shield, but with so much power to the engines you have little to give.

An impact hits your ship from behind. The heavy fighter that has been giving the pirates so much trouble has made an attack run on you! Now your REAR shields aren't looking 100% healthy. The fighter breaks off and returns to fighting the pirates, though you are amused to see it sent briefly out of control by a solid hit from a small anti-missile flare.

BTW, manoeuvre too much on the attack run and your torpedoes will be VERY inaccurate.

"Keep her steady yerssot," Gundark ordered. "Don't dive under the cruiser under the last possible second." She noted that the fighter antagonzing their tail end had broken off. We've only got one shot at getting out of here.... she thought.

Well, that it is raking you with gunfire suggests you are getting very close!

The corvette belonging to the Dark Jedi now enters firing range of the cruiser. It starts to fire a heavy laser repeatedly onto the same spot of the cruiser's hull. If the cruiser diverts firepower to take on this threat it COULD be the chance you need...

"That corvette is our diversion, yerssot." Gundark almost wanted to cheer. A glance at Lance's face told her the shields weren't going to hold up much longer. "Just a few more seconds..." The big cruiser nearly filled their viewscreen. She could just imagine the crew bracing for an impact that would never come. "Okay yerssot, hard nosedive....NOW !"

"Buckle up people!"
Yerssot smiled.
He pushed the stick away from him as hard as a could,
the ship fell down with an amazing speed, it came close to the other ship but never touched it.

Your manoeuvre is superbly timed. The chasing fighters are caught totally off guard, and you lose all of them as they fly over the top of the cruiser.

You swoop down the edge of the cruiser and dive underneath it. The lower guns, not expecting to be able to fire at you any more, are too shocked to fire back at you.

You are now halfway under the cruiser now, a few more seconds and you will be clear.

Behind you, the Dark Jedi still fight with the pirates. The corvette is now launching warheads.

"Just a few more seconds of that fight we would have been toast." Lance exclaimed

Gundark let herself grin at her fellow Jedi. "Looks like we'll be clear enough to jump in about 10 seconds. You ready, yerssot ?"

"Friend Lance, if we can get into hyperspace, it would be very good!"
Yerssot yelled towards him.
and a bacta-tank for me, if nobody minds
He thought, looking at his wound...
"Master Gundark, if you can check the distance to the nearest fighter, it would be great, then I know if I can give some extra power to the engines!"

Yes Lance PLease do get us in hyperspace..PLEASE!!
