is there a deffinate release date on this sequel, cuase i cant wait i loved the first and want to see the next one so badly.

I don't think there's a definite release date yet.

I heard that it is suppose to be in the fall of 2005 or early in the year of 2006. Hopefully sooner than later

Well, would like them to take their time. They can easily mess this up just like many sequels in the past.

i agree, I would rather wait a little bit and make it good than have to watch a bad movie

Kate Beckinsale, Scott Speedman, Len Wiseman, Danny McBride, and the creature designer (forget his name) are all remaining on the the project. Shooting begins in November for a targeted late 2005 release. The first 10-15 mintues are going to be a prequel of the story, set in Medieval times.

Those are all of the tidbits I could find.

Yes, I'm not sure if it's posted here but there will be an Underworld 2 and 3. 2 will be a sequel. 3 will be a prequel.

I heard they weren't going to do a prequel, that the third one was going to be a sequel to the underworld 2, but I could be wrong.

Hmmm... I've been hearing all around that Len Wiseman and Danny McBride have been planning to tell the story: middle, end, beginning. Where did you hear it wasn't a prequel?
