Actor Bill Nighy (Viktor) briefly spoke with Empire Online about his current roles, one of which was this film, where he explains how he reprises his role as Viktor for the beginning of the film when they "reawaken the second elder", whom he says is Marcus. You may not remember Marcus since he wasn't in the first film, because he was buried underground. Marcus will be playing a role that will lead to a war to end all wars between the two species.

I can't wait for it to come out. i love vampire and werewolf movies. I'm not some gothy blood drinking teenager, and I like the movie! I can't wait to see what happens with Selena and her handsome little boyfriend. What would you call him, just a cross breed? or is there an actual name for his kind?

They haven't named it yet since Michael turned into the hybrid at the end of the movie. They might have a name in the sequel.

So...Micheal isn't gonna be in the second one? or is his character being a hybrid not important?
