Can someone answer two reloaded questions for me?

First, let me say that I absolutely LOVED the first Matrix. Reloaded got waaaaaay too deep and a few things didnt make sense to me until I seen it two & three times.

First off, right before Smith copied himself then ported through the phone, the two guys had a packet from the Oricle and said they had to get it to Neo. Then they rushed this to him & it looked like a small circut board. How can they bring objects into the "real world" from the Matrix? They certainly dont bring out their black outfits !!?

***edited the 2nd question due to it being a FAQ***

they upload the contents into a circuit board, like uploading the Mind into the body

and as for the second part, we are STILL torn over the truth, and we won't know 100% until we see the movie...also, read the FLT thread, the one at the top of the forum, it has links to our discussions about this topic.

Thanx ! Im deleting it now ! lol

I tried and cant, oh well 🙂

for some reason, Newbs cant delete their first posts...

Well, while we're still here. Someone PLEASE explain to me why when a MIND IS FREED, why do the machines conveinantly dump the failers down the toilet to be picked up and educated????. I would think the machines would eventually know whats going on and start twisting heads off so they cant go to Zion and be part of the resistance.

the rebels have somehow "re-educated" the machine, into thinking the freed humans are dead, thus letting them go.

Gulp, I dont know about that one !! 😉

I'm gonna disagree with you here...not because I have a better explanation, but because your explanation seems too easy 😄
If they can re-educate the machines they can re-educate everything...even teach the machines to spontaneously set everybody free....right?

have you seen "animatrix"? Oh, and Spontaneously set everyone free is not possible. Morpheus says that a mind must want to be free, in order to accept the truth. you set everyone free, they're all gonna go crazy.

sadly, no

The red pill is part of a trace program...........it disrupts the input/output carrier signals (as explained in Matrix one).........this allows the operator in the real world to pinpoint which pod sed human is in..........

Because the output carrier signals are disrupted........the machines the human in the pod is hooked up to are no longer recieving any signals from them. The machine reads this as they are dead as their brain is no longer producing signals.......so the machine flushes the "dead" human out down into the waste system where they are to be liquified and fed to the living interveinously.

The reason the humans wake up is because the input carrier signal is disrupted. Their brain is no longer recieving the Matrix program through the port in the back of their head. This is why they are awake as the machine unhooks all of the sensors and wires from their bodies.

OK, so theyre interpretted as being dead but the machine doesnt realize theyre wiggling around and breathing??? Hm.

Machines do not have eyes...........they have sensors.........their sensors tell them the person is dead because those sensors are no longer recieving any signals from their brain (brain dead = dead).......

Listen junior.........do a dance in front of your toaster and see if it notices.......purely speculation but I doubt it will........now talk to a Furby that has sound sensors on it......it will respond. Now open that bitch up and cut the wire's to the sensor so it is nolonger receiving messages from that sensor and see if it responds.........dollars to doughnuts says it won't.

Machines are metal and wires.........with mathmatical calculations we call programs running inside of them. They are not humans. They do not have observations. They cannot see...they cannot smell....they cannot taste........they cannot feel.......they cannot hear. All they can do is interpret information from their sensors.......if they are no longer recieving information from their sensors, they are just big chunks of metal.

Furby's gonna whoop you.

Listen here Senior, your unnecessary sarcasm FORCED me to put in M1 and review that scene. The toilet flusher machine finds Neo's pod and Im looking at plenty of red sensors on the machine. In fact at this time, Neo is sitting up in his goo tank , and it SEEMS that the toilet flusher looks right at him and grabs his neck. I wonder why the machines dont put two and two together and start realizing that people are dying sitting up ! lol So if this thing wasnt looking at Neo, (and it sure as hell seemed like it was), at the very least, it senses that Neo's sitting up.
I think they can recognize life considering they created the living Matrix. Await your response 🙂

You don't understand a machine doesn't sense anything like that unless it is it's purpose to do so. So the machine probably doesn't sense him because it is not his job to sense him.

sorry guys, when you see that shot I would agree with Italian on this. It even shows a 1st person perspective from the machine looking at neo.

So you may BOTH be right who knows. Maybe the machine DOES see him, but doesnt calculate whats going on and flushes him anyways. For how many people are awoken from the matrix, I bet the machines dont expect it and/or dont realize whats going on and flushes them....but I would say the machine new he was moving around and sitting up, otherwise it couldnt have grabbed him by the neck.

That's true dryden but I really did not have a clue and that it why I was assuming that it wasn't his job... But I don't know maybe it is a movie mistake.

Couple of reasons for the machines not twisting someone's head off.

First, they are flushed into the goop. The machines expects they are dead. Why make unneeded energy wasteful actions. If there are millions of people in the Matrix, thousands could be dying every day. To weed out the ones that are "still alive" would be difficult.

Second, the machine is picking up the person and moving them around. Such a body would sway and move. The machine would have to differentiate between this movement and that of a living person.

Third, letting a few live allows the machines to study man, study Zion and create a better Matrix.

Finally, if they killed everyone in the pods, you would have no movie.
