small things

There are a couple of minor things that I'm wondering if anyone's figured them out. The first is when Neo, Trinity and Morpheus are going to see the Merovingian. As they are approaching his table, we see a man being quietly but forcefully removed from the room. Both the camera and Neo track the two as they leave, and the man being removed briefly looks at Neo. And that's it. It's over in little more than a second, but given the Wachowski's penchant for really tiny details that mean something when you look at them, it seems too intentional not to have meaning. I don't recognize him from anywhere else in either film (although I suppose he might show up in the third). The second question is whether anyone recognizes the chain/necklace that Link's wife gives him. He says he doesn't "believe in that stuff" but I didn't recognize the chain so I'm not certain exactly what it is he doesn't believe.

For your first question the man is named Rama Kandra, and we believe he is one of the two programs that sold the Oracle's shells termination code to the Mero, and we've already noticed that...As for the second, i would have to refer you to someone with the DVD, b/c my version is not very good, so even if i were ot go back and look at it, i wouldn't know...

the guy walkin out of the merovingian is that hindu guy Rama (i think that's he's name) he's the guy that sold the oracle shell code to the merovingian to save his daughter, a very important child to future of the matrix (from EtM).

The oracle tells us that two programs which she trusted sold the termination code of her original shell for the life of their child (im paraphrasing, cant remember exactly, burly, a little help?) she says the child is important to the future...Then, in reloaded, we see a man (whom we come to know as Rama Kandra) being escorted away from the Mero when our heros arrive. THEN, in the trailer, we see a little girl in LIMBO (Mobil ave) with NEO and and the same man (Rama Kandra) and a woman. THUS, i put two and two together, and say Rama is the father, and the little girl is the child that is important.

How bout clarifying a little more, when you say the oracle said this about the two programs, are you referring to her saying this in ETM after she got a new shell? And the trailer, are you referring to the Revolutions trailer at the end of Reloaded?

yes, i refer to the new Oracle shell talking to Ghost, if i remember correctly, and I refer to the Theatrical trailer, not the one at the end of Reloaded.

What part from EtM is that from?? I've beat it on both characters and must have completely MISSED that....

And I believe the necklace, it is supposed to be like some sort of Catholic rosary, but I can't see anyone in the Matrix even knowing what religion is.....

it isn't in the ETM, except for what Burly posted up ^ there...
