Personally, and eventhough I love Pyro, I wouldn't like to see him come back. He died as a hero *he saved Kelly's life, for further detail PM me*. Bringing him back would make his death meaningless imo, making it look like it didn't matter because in the end, he came back, he's not a hero. Unfortunately I voted for the third option by mistake but, my true vote goes for "No, let him rest"
(sorry, I know this is an old post)
I don't agree...well, not entirely. I think what made him a hero in that story was that he was willing to stand up for what he believed in, and willing to give up everything for it. He had to defy his friends (the Brotherhood)...who are practically his family...and they'd surely hate him for it. If he'd survived the incident, he'd be ostracized from his only friends, and they might even come after him for revenge. That would be a lousy fate.
The fact that he died made it more tragic, but I think he could come back and it wouldn't ruin it at all...so long as Marvel didn't make him back into a villain again. He still made a big sacrifice, and nothing short of a stupid retcon would change that.
Hey all, I'm an old-time Pyro fan who's just joined these boards. You may have seen my Freedom Force site on the web; I know I've seen some of the pics from my site posted to this thread 😉 I dunno why I decided to sign up under the name 'Gunther Bain' (it's not my name, my name is Lia), but a cookie for whoever gets the reference! 💃
Oh well, here's a pic from what would have been Pyro and Avalanche's very first appearance.
