I never actually said I've been offered the job, but I'm in the running for it....
I'd already made the decision to accept it, should they offer it to me. Mostly because its a good company who not only build the things, they maintain and de-commision them too. I struggled with the ethics at first but in the end I felt that the things are a necessary evil.

Do it, Mech. There is no ethical high ground to be taken by simply refusing a job like that. You will not make the world a better place by refusing or worse place by accepting, these things are part of society and unless you are a paid up CND member I see no reason for you to refuse.
Sorry, kids, but this is part of the adult world. People have their own lives and security to think about and if that seems selfish, wait until YOU have to think about it.
Ok, wait just a minute! I am not a kid, i live in the real world, and you may not have lived through a war...which i can see you havent, since you are from england, and if anything you know nothing of it!!!
Ive spent 6 years of my life in a country that was in war, being bombed and what not, so dont you tell me about 'adult' world!!!!!!!
