okay....so I've never seen Black Hawk Down. I thought of seeing it, but I would have had no clue who he was at the time and not noticed.
In all actuality he's not doing an american accent so much as a mid-south accent. seriously....we here in the deep south don't have accents like they portray on film. I'm imagining him having this really gay redneck accent...that alone will make me go see the movie. That will be cracking me up. As for me and everyone I know...we have more of a New York accent than a New Orleans accent....unless I get really pissed off or I get around my Pawpaw's family. Then i get a cajun accent. It's really funny to hear me get really mad...I sound so funny. anyways....I want to see Elizabethtown....I'm curious of how Orli was going to take his own life in the beginning of the film... seeing him suicidal and then goofing off at his daddy's funeral is gonna be interesting.
Cajun accent is very noticible. You would be able to tell it was not a normal american accent. Or a severely country accent (which is what I meant by redneck accent).
CAjun would sound something like...
Oh mah Gawd! Do ya beleeve dis mess nah. Whatchoo doin down der boy. Geet yur butt back ovah here. oh so den I toll hem... you gotta know fo sho what you doin in yo life.
yeah...that's how I tend to talk when i get mad or am around my family...just sound it out and say it a little fast...it's funny. 😄
