Well i cant say im exactly going to agree with that, considering Johnny Depp is from Kentucky, and he gained a british accept with no help for the filming of the movie From Hell. And we in Kentucky HAVE NO accent, and ive heard some of his speech using no accent, he can do it pretty good. But the thing is is that he doesnt even Have to lose his accent for this movie really, he's supposed to come 2 KY for the death of his father...

All I meant was that in movies they always give the actors these dumb southern accents when we don't have that. And he's supposed to be from kentucky... and then go home...so he would have the accent if they chose to be inaccurate (which movies usually are). Just cuz you move away from home doesn't mean you lose your accent....😛
