i dont think theyve ever elaborated on it... wheres sage when you need her...

while storm had thors hammer she had all of his powers, and her weather powers were above his. she easily killed wolverine and ruled asgard instead of thor

Nightcrawler's father, Azazel was a mutant with a demonic visage and the ability to teleport, while his mother was naturally blue... you do the math. 😉

The white streak in Rogue's hair has finally been explained in Rogue (3rd Series) #2, as a natural (real) mutation.

It is most likely hypopigmentation, which is a melanocite depletion in the skin or hair that is most usually associated with Waardenburg's Syndrome. 😎
