The illusion was intended (and succeeded, I might add) to show David the dangers of removing the block on his power, which would allow him to gain others' knowledge permanently.

Yehah, I remember him wanting to remove the block.

It was a rather smart move, I must say. Did you guys totally freak when you saw Josh dead?

Not as such. 😎

Although, it was a rather *gasp* moment. 😉

Another question from the one and only curious Todd!

Are those the Stepford Cuckoos?

It's the cover of NXM: Academy X #17, I think.

They're most likely the Stepford Cuckoos, just wanted to know for sure, cuz aren't Esme and Sophie dead?

And, another question, why couldn't Elixir save Northstar after Wolverine killed him? I only read the preview, and it was awkward. Maybe explained in a latter page of the issue...

Anyway, I appreciate this alot. Thanks.

Arghrhgghrhg where's Sage when ya need her?!

northstars body was too messed up... he was too far gone i think...

Meh...that sucks. It's rather dissapointing to see an Omega Class Healer fail, no?

still a good question even though Pr1983 gave a good explanation

As far as I know, it's all five Stepfords reunited in the Scarlet Witch's "House of M".

So, as near as I can foretell, Wanda uses her reality-altering powers to "revive" Esme and Sophie. 😉

The best X-cuse I can invent is that Northstar's speedy physiology killed him faster than the average person, and as Josh is unable to raise the dead... 😬

Ahh...so I suppose House of M is Marvel's answer to everything that doesn't make sense with continuity and or fan favorites.

I wonder...when the X-Vengers stop Wanda, does everything return to normal? Let's sure as hell hope not...I mean, at least SOME things should stay.

Josh can't bring back from the dead? Ohh...I didn't know that. Well then, Sage thank you, his speedy metabolism and all that goodness does make sense. Excellent answer.

Aaaaand another question...

When Wanda will inevitably bring people back in House of M, are her powers more of an illusion or is she really re-weaving the fabrics of reality?

ok.....i have a question that Ive had for a lllloooonnnnggg time, but always forget to ask....what is this about Colossus being Mr. Sinister??!!! I was looking through uncannyxmen.net and in the spotlight for colossus for alternate unviverses it says that in Earth X he became the ruler of Russia and it says this:
Also, the Piotr of this timeline discovered that he and Mister Sinister were one-and-the-same: apparently, Colossus would develop a mad love for Jean Grey and travel back in time for the sole purpose of preserving her as a clone.

Now is that for His universe or 616 also?? since you know how people skip universes and end up in new ones all the time.....thats been a question bothering me for quite some time...so thanks to whoever can answer!!!

I think its just another universe... Colossus isn't mister sinister in 616 depsite the obvious physical similarities...

The Sentry's power is supposedly unlimited. He stalemated Galactus. So why can't he just defeat the Scarlet Witch in the House of M on his own?

Hrm. What fun would that be, Draco?

Well, supposedly everyone in "The House" is given what they've always wanted, which for Sentry would probably be the return (or never-having-left) of his family.

That's the "briliant" idea, to keep the potential opponents sedated in their ideal life, so that the world as a whole is free for the running. 😉

interesting...

indeed...

i'd have to wonder what the x-men would be given...

That is rather interesting. So Peter got Gwen, then?

Brilliant. I wonder of Magneto's gonna make Wanda bring Anya and Magda back. That'd be nice...the Lensherr family finally together.

Anyone else bugged that Wolverine happens to be the one that realizes something is wrong?

oh, of course, his sense of smell would do it or something...
