i love their relationship since he's her little brother and hes old though, in X-Men the end, Cable is being controlled by the Technarx and stabs rachel in the back w/ wat i think is the psimitar but then rachel goes all phoenix-y and astral form-y and her tatoo appears over cables eye and shes like fight it, you can do it and shes like our inheritance, creation is our playgrounfm our moms phoenix and that means a lot and she calls him little brother. and then everything is all better, kinda

In the 616 reality the Celestials are creations of Eternity. Their job in this reality is to sow genetic potential across the universe in order to spark off evolution with the aim that somewhere down the line a race of beings will emerge who will surpass and replace the abstracts and higher cosmib beings (Eternity, Infinity, Death, Galactus, Living Tribunal etc) of the universe taking their roles in the next universe. Humanity is the fruition of the Celestials work. Omega (the last) level mutants are those closest genetically to reaching that point on the evolutionary scale where they transcend the physical and become one with creation. The abstracts of each universe are just the evolved humanity from the previous universe. Galactus is the most obvious example. He was from the previous universe and he merged with the cosmic egg (the premature current universe) as the old Eternity was dying and after a gestation period he and the new Eternity emerged and the new universe was born along with the world devourer Galactus. Of course with Eternity (life) born Death was made possible again. That is why Eternity, Death and Galactus are often called siblings.
Some omega mutants evolve into the abstracts however some are destined for higher things. Some of humanity reach the point of ultimate mutation and evolve into a phoenix. The Phoenixes are one with the power of creation and work for the Crown ( by definition an emanation point for Gods essence) They safeguard creation and help to keep the creation cycle of the entire multiverse going by manifesting into creation (from the white hot room where they reside) to burn away what doesnt work, that which may impair the cycle. Whilst many can evolve to be hosts for this power (Rachel, Giraud, Quentin Quire) their is only one true avatar (direct physical manifestation of something) of phoenix and that is Jean. She is the closest thing Phoenix has to human form. Because of her special relationship with this creation power she is the White Phoenix of Crown:

ok when gambit fought wolverine he was number one.. suprised attacked which was a cheap shot then pulled some ninja stuff on wolverine after being tackled to the ground then when wolverine was beat around a lil he drew his claws the gambit drew his cards and staff and they fought like sword to sword in a way since both there weapons were entmanteiam and then gambit charged his skeletal and both of them went kablabal and wolverine made more of a retreat. Second fight 10 seconds of wolverine beating gambit then gambit back flip kick right in front of him sending him closer to the brood queen then threw a card at his head knocking him out and then the basiclly tied the last fight both got equal shots.....cyclops fought gambit once and weakend his legs a lil bit by shooting a laser beam at him and he just dogded it with some damage gambit couldnt fight wit his kicks so threw cards and slashed up cyclops then punched him and ran he had to but cyclops didint get one shot ...pyslock and gambit fought one time and gambit wooped her and it was no contest but it wasnt her day and she is very strong and iceman and gambit fought three times each time its been a tye and gambit lost one of them in my oppionen and won one in mine and def tied one juggernut has never fought gambit one on one both top health no strings attched no fire power man made weapons and if they did gambit would tosss his fat butt around and gambit fought nightcrawler twice and lost onece baddly and won one by alot and then they fought agian and it was a tie to nightcrawler one of the times and then a definent tie one of them and then when gambit talked trash to him and both stood up to each other and pushed and threw a couple punches for 10 seconds gambit punched him twice got pushed then pushed nigthcrawler to the ground and when they have practice face offs gambit wins and when they fought at the jungle place that one time the fourth time nightcrawler was losing so he called in lizard boya younger x kid but still he wasnt a lil weak thing he had some skills and gambit nearly killed the lil 14 year old and beat nightcrawler even if he started the fight by wacking nightcrawler on the top of the head with a bear bottle it was still two on one and he still won YEH GAMBIT

i meant to say gambit fought nightcrawler four times and third was a tye to night crwaler by a lil bit bue gambit came back in the jungle fight hes never fought some on and losse dthe majortiy cause when he losses he rematches till hes wins more fights and gambit has the diamond of fate which means he can never lose a fight to death he would win or escape hes emortal and the best x-men in the world and ever born wolverine sucks and is week and slow and stupid and lost to sabertooth and mystiqe and gambit and collosus o yeh gambit fought colluses once and beat him by a lil bit he got more shots and did amazing tricks and collose got one or two shots but gambit punched and kicked him around gambit is amazing
it all started with alan moore. the real (main) timeline was designated as "earth 616" for the first time in the captain britain series from the 1980s. apparently the number was chosen at random, it was just the name given to it.
this name for the main timeline later crossed over to the rest of the marvel universe.
