IN the Bible, Jesus refers several times as God as his Father so, i'm inclined to say that HE IS a HE. God, even looked down from heaven and said, This is my son whom i'm well Pleased.

But if you don't sin, and if God loves everybody no matter what, why should he have to forgive you in the first place 😕

🙂 you know what i'm taking about. 🙂

If you're denying his existance, that is sinning.

j/k=just kidding 😉

It was a joke my darling 😛

I know hun

i smiled at ya hehe

In the Bible god is portrayed as a Man, this is true.

"The whole book is gender biased. A woman was responsible for original sin. A woman cut the quaff of Samsons power. A woman asked for the head of john the Baptist. Read that book again sometime. Women are shown as bigger antagonists then the Egyptians and Romans combined."

That's a good philosophy to have about religion, but it seems a lot of religious people don't share it

To many religious people fear that questioning the faith would result in losing your faith. My question for those people is "would you rather keep your questions silent, or ask them and feel better?"

The reason women are antagonized in the Bible is mostly political... A lot of pagan religions believe in "the sacred female"--the concept that females are mankind's path to god. To many ancients, women were the ultimate symbol of life, beauty, and spiritualism, even moreso than nature. So along came the newly-Christian Roman government, which was entirely male, and made up a bunch of stuff about women being evil. It was convenient both ways--it ensured that men would always run the government, and destroyed the idea of the sacred female.

okay, so the bible and koran says god is a he, but then they are known to be sexist.
the pegan religion have a lot of female godesses.
just another affiliated question, if god is jesus' father, then who is jesus' mother?
what about those who believe in personal, spiritual god, is ur god male or female?
for those who don't believe in god, feel free to post ur guess anyway.

God does not have a gender. God is what one may call the Trinity. The trinity is made of three parts, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Not everyone beleives the smae stuff I do, so their answers are probably different.

This may sound kind of silly, but why would God need reproductive organs anyways?

keep my questions silent

Why so, moo cow?

There's nothing wrong w/asking questions. But the bible does state in many places That God is male.

I do believe... but I was not always that way.. just happened last year
So I use to feel somewhat the same way.. but then things changed .. and I guess you will just have to find the answers yourself because even if I did explain why I believe.. and answer questions .. you would still need to find out for yourself..

I dont think god is either

Thats very true, VAYA most in here do not believe and wont believe

I have learned a long time ago that to get a true understanding of God that you must not look at the Bible as literal.

I don't mean this in a personal way, but a response like that doesn't show much faith. I'd rather believe God would give me the clarity to see the truth in questions of faith.

What kind of God would not want to answer questions?
