why do you believe in the after life Cyke?

What exactly do you truly believe is past these so called "pearly gates"?

What do you think hell is like?

If you believe in such places, then you should have atleast some idea or some guess as to what they are like.

I don't believe in the after life. I believe once your brain shuts off....everything shuts off.

The whole concept of God/Heaven/Hell are all things created by the human imagination. Dogs and Cats have no concept of Heaven and Hell. They are animals, they lack the intelligence to have such a complex notion as the exsistance of God.

Does that mean that animals will go to hell because they aren't smart enough to understand the concept of the exsistance of a higher being?

Life, to me, seems like a big test. There has to be a payoff of sorts. If there isnt an afterlife, so be it. I am enjoying my life as it is. No harm in having a little faith. 😄

What if my idea of heaven involves being with Pamela Anderson, but her idea of perfection doesn't involve me at all? Does that mean Pamela can exsist in 2 places in Heaven? or that 2 Pamela's exsist in heaven?

Evil...is just a word associated with a classified mood temperment. Animals aren't evil, they don't do things just to enjoy watching people suffer. Dogs are too simplistic for such a complex notion. Animals, eat, sleep, crap, and reproduce.....humans are the ones that make life difficult.

what's with the idea of a "soul mate" anyways....animals don't believe in that crap...

Humans are animals... and yes we are evil.

again FE it's not because we can't explain something (at this moment in time) that it has a divine origine, if you think like that that's just believing what you want to believe.

I mean there are tons of things in the past that couldn't be explained and therefor were given a divine origine, those things are now explained by modern day sience.

ok Finti, thats what i'm thinking about you, everytime i give what is proof to me, you always come up with some excuse not to believe.

If you backstab, cheat, steal (even gum), deny Jesus if you deny him he will deny you before his Father, have any other Gods before him, which could mean a number of things: tv, internet.....list could go on and on, meaning do you spend time w/God, praying seeking him, seeking his ways, getting to know him. 🙂

The more the marrier, Link. Trying to grasp to concept of an "Ultimate Paradise" is impossible. Trying to explain one is also impossible. I dont even know what my own vision of paradise is. I would rather wait for the surprise.

what if God was a small child playing with a bubble wand blowing bubbles...and in each bubble made was a galaxy not unlike our own...from the time the bubble is made to when it pops is the lifespan of that galaxy but from our view of time...now that would be something to think about...

Yes, I've been to South Central Los Angeles, and aside from a lot of black people who hate small white kids....it's not really that bad.

there is SOMEONE out there. Infact there are several billion SOMEONE's out there. The idea that there is only ONE person that is perfect for the other, is utter non-sense. Love and companionship? More human emotions....over complexified in order to narrow down the number of possible mates that someone would want to have.

Animals sniff butt and hump. Humans buy flowers, jewelry, and cars for their lovers. Who exactly are the ones doing it wrong?
