Did you ever think that maybe we gave ourselves free will?

God can't give us something...that is already ours.

thants not point....whoever i quoted asked or said why does god let bad things happen or whatever...and christians and people who believe in god say god doenst let bad things happen..he gave man free will so people can think on there own and make there own decisions....good/or bad

Exactly.

We are giving the choice to lead whatever life we want. Be it a banker, a janitor, or a serial rapist. We have full control over our lives.

pfft. that's such a religious excuse that it brings tears to my eyes.

God didn't "create" us. And if he did, he's an omnipotent being, so he should be able to make human's without physical flaws. Why does God create handicapped people? Why does he "create" people with birth defects?

If God created us, then he is responsible for not just "allowing" terrible things to happen to people, he is responsible for actually making terrible things happen to people.

God didn't "create" us like he was baking a cake. Free Will isn't something he "threw in"....Humans had free will before they ever invented God.

why are you asking questions that noone can ansewer....im not god, jesus, moses or allah...this is pettery much what it comes down to in every religion.....you either have faith or you dont

That is such an atheistic answer it brings tears to my eyes.

God created THE ORIGINAL humans, and BESTOWED upon us the ability to choose our own destinies. God does not create EVERY person born thereafter, but gave us reproductive organs in order to do so ourselves.

Birth defects and handicapps are simply accidents. They happen. I once knew a kid who decided it would be fun to blow up a battery. He is now mentally and physically handicapped. God did not blow up the battery.

If God was to abolish all evil, God would be in turn destroying or killing of people are various other things. Therefore, he is commiting an evil act. God is incapable of doing evil.

Since when? Since Noah?? Or did you forget about that little story...

I dont believe in that God. 😉

and who were these ORIGINAL humans?

Truly, if God created THOSE original humans...then they must have been more perfect than all of the peoplein modern time, because an infallable being had created them, where we are a direct result of mortal creation.

that would suggest that Humans as a whole are not evolving, but that they are actually de-evolving.

Much like with animals, you're losing your pure bred blood with every generation that is brought into life.

if humans are de-evolving, how come we are getting smarter and smarter everyday?

THat's the same God that created the "original humans" you speak of, in the three largest religions on the planet. I assume these are where you get the influence of your beliefs.

and Sodom and Gomorrah was what?

so now you can pick, hmm god was good here but not here so I chose away the latter 🙄 🙄

Samurai meant "THAT God" because he is not particularly involved with a particular religion.

He accepts the exsistance of God as our creator....he does not believe in organized religion.

To Link:

I am surpirsed you havent brought up the question of "How can an infallable or perfect God create an imperfect race of beings?"

I fwe are indeed de-evolving as you say, perhaps we are getting smarter due to the fact that we can pass down information due to the written word.

"Getting smarter" is the opposite of "de-evolving"...

well we are getting more violent

well we are getting more violent
oh we are, compare to what area of time in history????

This is true. Did we forget about WWII? Or the entirety of the Middle Ages? The only difference is our weapons got more destructive.

Not necessarily.

Yes it is. Becoming stupider would severely impair our ability to survive, since we have no natural weapons. Therefore, our minds had to evolve into what they are today. We didn't de-evolve. If we did, we'd look more like gorillas.
