Believing is NOT enough... that's why I asked you if you have come to the full knowledge of God's will... and it seemed that you didn't... That's the answer why it happened to youas I said earlier, this way this god of you cant regard young children cause they have no way of knowing the full knowledge of a gods will, that makes the god you believe in an arrogant and contemptuous prejudice god.
And by the Lutheran protestant way beleiving and living your life in acceptance with that Jesus is the saviour is enough

Wait, so suddenly believing and having faith ISN'T enough? Wow, god is kinda greedy now. What else could I give him that he couldn't create with a THOUGHT?And I don't think you fully understand what that quote means.
As Jesus once said something like: "To those who believe in me, if you obey my laws you truly are God's people."
So believing is one thing... yet obeying God's will and Christ's commandments is another thing. 🙂

🙄 Again, children have God's and Christ's promise:
Matthew 19:13-15, (NIV)🙂
13 Then little children were brought to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples rebuked those who brought them.
14 Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."
15 When he had placed his hands on them, he went on from there.
I didn't mention about "free will" here... 😛
Anyway, every man has his own freedom to choose...
Only God knows what good has instore for man, that's why He gave us His law and commandments. For without the law, no one is free. He even revealed the mystery of His will to serve as our guide and save our dying soul.
But to man, it is his decision that matters. His future lies on it.

I fail to see your logic regarding the law and freedom. Also if you believe in an eternal soul it cannot be dying. Even in hell we would be eternal.
🙄 Well, "eternal soul" is yet a different issue.
I can refer "soul" as the "man" of this world. 🙂
I said "dying soul" because each man was destined to die because of his sins.... And I am not saying about "dying" as the cessation of breath.
The Bible has mentioned about the "second death" ... which is the eternal punishment in the lake of burning sulfur and fire.

call me uneducated but i didn't hear of it. Elaborate
I see what you mean, but a 'second death' and eternal punishment in the lake of fire and sulphur still seem like a contradiction. You can't be completely dead if you are suffering eternal pain and you can't suffer eternal pain if you are completely dead. Also, if god created the universe didn't he also create hell?
😱 Vampy! *Biblically elaborates*
A man was destined to die because of his sins. And sins made man separated from God. God revealed His own "will" to save His people from the death mentioned in the Bible... and this death is the "second death" for we have the first death which is literally the cessation of breath... and the sinful soul will receive his eternal punishment in the lake of fire which is the "second death".
The people of God who served Him with all their might who have died will be included in the "first resurrection" together with the living who remained righteous in His sight come Judgment Day. These people will receive God's promise of eternal life. While the sinful dead will be included in the "second resurrection" together with the living sinful and receive eternal punishment in the lake of fire, which the Bible called as the "second death".
🙂
something about lambs and seperating the goods on right and the bads on left?
think i read about this 😛
There is one thing that irritates me about St.Johns Apocalipse... He writes that after the judgement day, after the world ends, the beast is free and so on an so on, Jesus will marry his bride.
Though, he pictures the bride as a damn CITY. Jerusalem to be exact. I don't get the subtle second BOTTOM of this story.
Christianity is so damn comfusing,
Expecially all of these argumenative posts.
So If you don't believe in "God" you screwed basicly, Bad things will happen to you on Earth, and you will go to hell, where life sucks majorly.
But if you believe in "God" and tkry to expand, and question, and think "Hey maybe somethigns are wrong, and its not all the way the Preacher says" Your screwed and going to hell and just as bad as an Athiest.
So the only feasable way for you to go to heaven, is to blindly follow every single thing that the church tells you. No questioning no thought. Be a mindless Robot and go to heaven.
That sounds liek some government mind control thing or some funky cult.
and If thinking for my self makes me go to hell, then to hell I go!
Our ways are not Gods ways, Our time is not Gods time, God does answer prayers & he hears us. I know that God does heal, No, i can't explain why everyone doesn't gets healed. There are a numerous reason to why a person can't be healed. Not saying any of these apply to your life, cuz i have no idea. Sin, unforgivness in your life, i thk thats one of the biggest reason besides lack of faith. Alot of times we have unforgivness in us and we don't even realize it, cuz we just stay away from that person. I know that all things work for the Good of God and that you have to serve him and worship him thru the good and the bad times in your life. You can't pick & chose when to serve him, thats not a true worship. God does know everyone's motive, rather we speak it out loud or it's in our hearts, HE knows.
according to the bible you do have to forgive others, and i wasn't saying that applied to your situation cuz i have no idea. the bible is a guidline to how to live your life, if you're not doing it correctly then it doesn't work effectivly. If you do develope a relationship w/God, he will talk to you & you talk to him thats what prayer is, talking w/God. It can't be a relationship when a person does is pray when something goes bad in their life, they have to do that everyday and have that relationship. If a person NEVER spoke to their spouce except when something bad was going on their lives, they wouldn't have a very good relationship, same w/God.
