Atari Jaguar and that toilet bowl designed Jaguar CD have got to rate as one of the worst designed and marketed systems out there... as evidenced by the fact that Atari is nowhere near the hardware side of things anymore. Very poor third party support... I can't think of a single game that didn't look like gerbil vomit and play like a senior citizen with constipation.
I didn't bother to look back through the history of this thread (mostly since the idea that Gamecube being the worst system out there is pure idiocy... maybe try playing a few games first before making that assessment?). I think I've said it before, but the following systems easily rate as inferior to Gamecube in terms of what it has accomplished in the marketplace:
1. Atari Jaguar (and CD)
2. 3DO (and I actually owned on too... the pricing structure on this is what killed this one, and considering its performance was dwarfed shortly after its arrival by a little system by Sony...).
3. Sega 32X
4. Virtual Boy (bad ergonomic design, hardly and development support)
5. N-Gage
GameCube is the worst of the current crop, but the Atari Jaguar is by far the worst ever console. The Sega 32X would be next.
The things I dislike about the GC are the kindergarden controller and lack of really good games that are pitched above a 9th grade level. RE4 and such are more an aberation to their track record rather than the norm. Plus their over-reliance on already established names, but that seems to be the way games are going these days.

Did you bother to look at my list? Or even know about, Eternal Darkness, The Twin Snakes, Metroid Prime 1 & 2, Rogue Leader & Rebel Strike are out for GameCube? 🙄
The worst one of the current consoles is Ps2, since it's games get ported in all directions, I own one and I admit it.
