I'd still fly transatlantic but I wouldn't take an internal US flight.

Well, I've flown to Israel a couple of times, passed Mossad securtity everytime and that's more security than we'll have on regular flights.

Air traffic is down like 50%, no one wants to fly. Lately I've been seeing license plates from all over the country, every one is driving now as opposed to flying.

Even with the recent hikes in gas costs in the US your fuel costs arfe still WAY below those in the UK.

I drove 550 miles yesterday and it cost me the equivelent of $110.00 in Deisel

Regular Gas is about $5.60 a gallon!!! Super is over $6.00 a gallon.

Wow!!!!! Thank god I live in Texas, gas prices are always cheap down here. You drove 500 miles? I thought you European people always took trains everywhere 😕

So many misconceptions.... I think I have only taken 1 train journey in the last 3 years...

Are you kidding RC? that means you have more expensive gas than Norway, which I thought was impossible here it is around $ 4 for a gallon (regular95).

England is more expensive, those bastards. I took my parent's campervan there two years ago. It drives on Diesel and that's just as expensive as gas/petrol. A major rip off in the UK.

A gallon of milk costs more than a gallon of petrol where I live! and people still complain! I quess if you have it in your own back yard you just dont appreciate it that much 🙄
