Kingdom Hearts 2

hey... i was told that Kingdom Hearts 2 takes place about 2 years after Kingdom Hearts 1. Is that true? because then i think the timeline would be flawed

No it's about a year...Sora is 14 in Kingdom Hearts and he's 15 in KH2...

oh... but either way im sur ethe timeline is flawed, but i dont exactly remember why i thought it was flawed

so forget i mentioned it, unless i come up witht the reason again. (sorry i posted so close together time wise, but im too lazy to click one button, except i right this long explanation... hmm)

I hate it how i can never find one of those standard pictures of Xemnas or Roxas. You know the ones where they have organization numbers 2-12 in poses and they all have their weapons? Well i dont know if you did, but i cant find on for Xemnas or Roxas... It really bugs me
(next sentence might be a spoiler, maybe not) Of course i would like a picture of Zexion and his weapon, but i guess i can wait til the next game..

I've seen those pictures before....

They have one of Xemnas. Only thing is they didn't show Xemnas's weapons in that picture; probably because his weapon is his ability to manifest his energy into practically anything, i.e., energy swords, projectiles, shields, etc.

I don't know why they didn't make one of Roxas...

They also have one of Roxas, although that pic is pretty dull and doesn't have his weapons in it.

Something that hacked me off about KH2.

They changed 'Ansems' voice actor (Xenoharts heartless is too damn long to write) .

Billy Zane did a very good job in my opinion in KH1 , providing enough morose with arrogance and 'sneering-bad-guy' into Ansems character to really bring him alive. Even the few liens he had in KH : COM were well done.

So for them to change it to Richard Epcar in KH2 was very annoying , the guy tried well enough but it was nowhere near close to Zanes performance and just sounded like a cliched 'Deep voice' badguy.

I personally think Xemnas's voice actor was better than Xehanort's Heartless's. To me, Xemnas sounded more badass.

I'll give you that much but I was always more of a 'Ansem' fan. His costume design looked cooler in my opinion and his attacks were pretty awesome.

yeah i didnt like that they changed his voice...

Just like they changed Leon's voice, and Aerith's voice
and probably some more that i dont know...
I didnt even need to ook it up though... I can tell when listening to the flashbacks. The voice doesnt sound the same as in the first game (not the voice, but the emotion inside it)

So there is going to be a KH3?

No, there will not be a KH3. Nomura confirmed that Square is working on a completely new series now. It's relevant to KH of course since Mickey is shown in the end of the secret ending in Final Mix+ 2. However, the next title will not bear the name "Kingdom Hearts" and will be called something else. Also since it's a new series, there'll be games that will be released following the release of the next title.

I thought Kingdom Hearts was going to go on like Final Fantasy has.

I even heard things about them adding Pixar Themed Worlds in the next Kingdom Hearts and everything.

The next game may not have "Kingdom Hearts" in the title, which I find strange, but I find it hard to believe that it will be a completely new series being that Mickey is involved.

It might have new MAIN characters, but it'll still be Kingdom Hearts and in the Kingdom Hearts Universe with the same BACKGROUND characters.
