Okay darlings, had to move this little conversation over here as requested. So I'll type it here all over again, and start the conversation all over again.

What do you think - how come Logan drinks so much? Does the alcohol affect him, would he be able to fight drunk and how would that go? Or would the healing factor sober him straight away - and in that case what's the point of drinking beer at all? Also why does he prefer beer? I can see him as a whiskey kind of a guy! 😄

Well I dont know about some of the other stuff but I think he drinks to forget his sorrows. 🤨

And boy do we know he's got sorrows to drown... A drunken Wolvie, hih 😉

😂

Does anyone know whether Wolverine is a lefty? As I saw his watch on Hugh's right wrist!

I doubt canon tells us this. Hugh Jackman might be a lefty, or maybe that was a watch some character-design person slapped on.

Gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous. But the Snikt cartoon version is a bit freaky!

Ah, another question...
Where exactly did Logan's mutant genes come from? I'm aware they're from Logan Sr whom his mother had an affair with (as Dog, apparently, had mutant genes as well), but how about Logan's deceased older brother? Was he Logan Sr's son too? Because this would make John Howlett have no children at all and I recall reading somewhere he also had some sort of a mutation...? That could've explained the mutation of Logan's older brother.

It was hinted that Logan (the gardener) may have been James' (Wolverine) father (they do look the same), but as to James' older brother John, it was never confirmed who his father was. The claws might actually have been a trait from his mother's genes. Flashbacks never show him having that trademark hairdo that James or the Gardener had (at first he looked a little like Joseph, the Magneto clone).

Although not in continuum, Paradise X explained that Wolverine was not a mutant at all, but actually one of the various types of humans that didn't have their genes manipulated by the Celestials. Their brief explanation of his origin was that the Howletts found him (abandoned?).

That's lame. I think it's way better that he has a proper history rather than no history at all which leaves his past for us to limitlessly speculate. He could be from another planet, or anything!

That might be true but I thought that it was only the males who could pass on the X-gene. although that might be just the movies............

Does anyone else find this disturbing,or is it just me?
