Ohhh, Dave. You have to be careful. Anyone who agrees with me is part of a conspiracy peanut-gallery, while those who agree with DV are courageous people who have the COURAGE to come to this forum, and courageously tell us Revolutions “sucks” because you have to THINK.
Uhhhh… 😉

Hey omega, you are indeed a very clever--Brilliant girl I should say . I mean that im not even messing around, I truly mean that. One thing though, you see the way you said what i have quoted...I could say the exact same thing execept that everyone who disagrees with you just doesnt understand it or apprently just cant think.

Omega we could go at this forever you have your opinion and I have mine just like you back up the ppl who agree with you, I back up the ppl who agree with me. I have extended an olive branch and said let's agree to disagree but, you still seem to want to pick at me because I dont agree with you...that's fine does'nt hurt me at all.

Im gonna be sending you my pic pretty soon and then you can be my trinity and we can live happily ever after 😆

There was nothing useless about Revo...Unless u expect things to end up rosie! 🙄

DV> There is a difference between calling people dumb or saying they’re deluding themselves, and saying people have to understand. The former entails simple idiocy, and accuses your opponent of being an idiot. The latter opens for discussion and debate.
And you’ll notice I used the flavour of your post on people who agreed with me, whom YOU accused of being a peanut-gallery. Thereby antagonising your opponents, instead of being open for debate.

And for the googoplex’th time: I am not out to get you. And if the point of your previous post was to point out that we should agree to disagree I have gone completely blind.

> Ragesremorse

What i meant about contrasting ideas is that i expected something in my mind that others obviously didnt. Thats the only way i can explain it cos through my eyes it was an awful movie, yet through yours it was fantastic. We both expected different things, you got what you wanted, I, among others, didnt. Thats all.

No name calling anymore...please.
Some like it...some don't. I do.
Have you not learned anything from the matrix trilogy?
Just let things be okay...

RIP Revolutions.

Oooooo...Omega I love you to. 😉

When did i say you were coming after me?. I said you seem to (key word's) want to pick at me. You try to sound very convincing but, you're not. If you look at some of your replies you will see that you simply answered "you dont understand".

Bottom line is I never said it was'nt fair to leave thing's open for thought I said it was not fair to hype up the movie to be a conclusion that will blow our minds. That did not happen anywhere at anytime but, if you ask the directors and the producer they will hype it up to be that. All i said was that it is not fair to leave so MANY unanswered questions and leave such HUGE room for discusion to the point that ppl come up with their own different conclusion's and yet they all saw the movie and claimed to have understood everything.

I also think that it is not fair to make ppl go out and purchase more things to understand the movies....that is just not right and even you have to say it is'nt.

You know i tried to be the better person and leave this behind us (notice I call one person the peanut gallery b/c no matter what you say they seem to have no opinion and just rest on your shoulder 🙂 ) you on the other hand want to keep this going so be my guest and keep trying to make me believe this was a great movie, in reality I think it's a semi-decent action flick with the story rushed to the point it seems they just wanted to get this over with. Oh man did you hear that omega I actually said i liked some of it....do you think you can be realistic and say there were something's you disliked about it?.

Okay people, for those of you that really loved the film can you tell me what was so good about it?

I am asking this question to find out maybe the ones like myself who were disappointed missed something.

I also found the Oracle mother or not mother Oracle thread a bit contradictory in this film?

Does the mero have extra powers to give seti a purpose which she never had before but at the end of the movies she was up to something?

Seraph, whom I thought was wasted as a character, decided to try 2 different doors before breaking into another one, was this not the same Seraph that had keys to several doors in reloaded?

Finally Smith, his role reminded me of Dragon ball Z the buu saga. He absorbs someone and that someone fight him within, also takes their powers as well. I have seen this before another reason why I thought the movie tanked.

So you fans of this movie please enlighten me if I have missed something, please if you feel like flaming on me please do not bother. I would like a polite response and appreciate if fans and non fans can keep there frustation to themselves.

The Matrix Revolutions I think was a good movie. I had been waiting patiently for it and I saw it the second night that it was out. People who are calling the W brothers sell outs just might be looking at it backwards, because they obviously did NOT right it to please every fan possible. They wrote it as they saw it best, and they wrote out the original concept they had created the original movie to be the beginning of.

I found a lot of holes in the movie and inconsistency.

icansee> i felt that the fact that it finished the trilogy in an unexpected way, including all the drama and excitement, clinched it for me...WHen i was watching Mifune, and the wave of Sentinels he was holding back until the wave broke, and the way he fought, was incredible. I connected with this movie more so than any other, the drama moved me so much...i cried when Mifune died, and when Trinity died. I rejoiced when Smith was destroyed.

ok, the Oracle is the mother, she is the one that realized that "the problem is choice". it was not Sati, Persephone, Trinity, or anyone else. The Mero does NOT give Sati a purpose, but he keeps her from being deleted because of her lack of purpose. As for Seraph, i dont know, however, i felt that the time frame was so pressing that he did not have time to find his keys...thus the trying doors and finally breaking one down. Smtih, i honestly didnt think he would assimilate the persons powers, until Sati-Smith said "Cookies need love too", and that surprised me, and even though i had seen the buu saga, i loved it in Smith. Plus, his emotions, the maelstrom of emotion inside him, gave him a depth i did not expect. THIS is why i loved Revolutions.

JediHDM,
Thanks for the reply and a well answered one as well. Okay, now I can get a picture of your mind frame on the film. Yes, I did like some parts of the movie but just look at Reloaded when Neo asked the Architect about the mother of the matrix with that in mind look at Revolutions when Smith meets the oracle he makes a comment. I am trying not to spell everything out since I will spoil it for those who have yet to see it.

I thought the battle of Zion was good, I would of liked to see the battle of Smith and Neo last a while longer as in M1 in the sunway station but I guess that will never happen again.

Anyways, thanks for explaining your points of the film you enjoyed.

Icansee> yes, when Archie says "Please" it got me too, but he's not saying, "What, are you insane, the mother is not the Oracle" as i originally thought, but rather "She is not an oracle, as i just said, she studies the human psyche...as i was saying..." and that messed me up until i saw revolutions. yes, I loved the battle of Zion, and the fight with Smith did seem to go quickly, but i am happy with the outcome, and although i am sorry that you didn't like it as much as i do, i can understand why you don't.

the Problem with this last movie is that there are still MANY thick headed people alive.

People are useless just like the machines figure. There are still too many people hell bent on seeing an ending where NEO destroys all machines and the matrix, and Humans take over the world AGAIN!

Lets Not forget something, the only reason the Machines took over is because OF MAN'S carelessness, and ego. Man is the 100% to blame for the problems on the world of this series.

It's only fitting that the machines survive, as they ARE LIFE.
I would have actually been OK with man being destroyed, and the machines somehow living without them. Sure the Machine was HUGE MEan enemy in the First Movie, but by the time REloaded came out you guys should have seen Peace coming from a mile away. The Oracle said it herself, they need each other.

The people that actually accept this ending for the series are the same people who did'nt have a hard on to see the destructions of all machines, and man totally triumphant.

FLIPMODE> Is that REALLY triumphant? I don't think so...

I say there will be part 4, what do you guys think?

Matrix Revolutions - What the hell was the ending?!

I thought that it was a great film, up until the point where Trinity dies, and I do not understand what the ending was from then on. Could someone please explain it slowly to me, how did he end the war exactly! It seems stupid that he made a deal with a machine, and then suddenly they decide you know I think we will give them peace after all! I am a huge Trinity fan, I have the hairstyle, biker boots and coat, and have to know the ending.
So could someone email me and tell me!:

I have no idea why people want all these things explained. Even if there was no Matrix Online, I am far happier with things beiong left open.

A story that ends with everything tied up, is a poor story.

It's not about tying things up but rather tying things together. It does bother me, the disingenous way some of the more blinkered diehards among us are willing to excuse the lazy way the two sequels were made.

Matrix 1= great
Reloaded and revs= the emperor's new clothes 😮 😮

Right, let's get this cr@p out the way. What some sensitive people don't seem to understand is that the abscence of a 'feelgood' ending isn't the problem. Personally I couldn't care or less if Neo lives or dies as long as I leave the theatre with my hair standing on end and with my mouth full of something valid to chew on. The bros dug themselves a hole they couldn't get out of.
