Thats my point in M3. There was nothing new. Smith and neo fighting for no reason when they know they can't kill each other.
The oracle and her VAGUE answers. Trinity and Neo in there Romeo and Juliet romance as i said earlier.
Soooo... you're saying that they should have just made one, nine-hour long movie? At least the "Romeo and Juliet" romance was better than in SW AOTC:
"I love you padme. You're not like sand"
"Gee thanks anakin. I really like it when people tell me that i'm not like sand. I love you too"
why diddnt you like it? i need a deeper meaning, what the hell is wrong with you? are you blind? tell me why you diddnt like this movie, i dont understand.
I dont give a rabbit turd about people who diddnt like the movie. doesnt bother me. When you bash the movie then i'll have to aska few questions.
so why diddnt you like it? what the hell is wrong with you ? i need a deeper meaning, i dont understand.
Most of you are just starting you love of sci-fi. You don't see that a good movie is more than good special affects. Half of you will go on to be movie lovers and half will only love just the cgi. I have been a sci-fi nut for over 27 years. Since i was about seven. But until i was about 22 or 23 i never saw past the glitz to what made me like all movies, Whether it is a foreign subtitle like the other side of Sunday or the classic metropolis.
What i fear for some of you is that you will get lost in the matrix and not see the other great movies that are about to get released. LOTR is a truly great trilogy. Three stories that tell one. at least they put there fluff on sec. ed. DVD's Not a entirely new movie.
Jedi you cant be that foolish, I mean c'mon you seem like a smart guy.
There have been ppl bringin up points all over the place just read between the plain "it sucked" post's. There were some ppl in particular who pointed out some great things but, you know what go fish them out because ppl took time to post them and you just, apprently, skipped right over them.
I;m telling you most people who hate it. Hate it because they built up there own story in there mind and when it diddnt turn out to be what they made it out to be there pissed. I only say this because alot of people i talk to who say it sucked, always follow that statement with "oh it should have happend this way" And it's always some crazy bullshit that is out of the realm of the story. It happend they way it happend because that was the story, if you dont like it because of the story thats fine, but when you say it sucks because it diddnt happen a certain way, then i dont understand how you can watch movies period. Of course when everything is said and done anything can be better, but is it good as it is? Matrix is.

Oh, I so completely disagree!! When you take in the quasi-biblical references of the movie, and the play on reality itself, the whole book seems to become very pertinent! How ethnology's objective study exposes the object and ergo, the object disseminates and dies as it's final revenge against ethnoogy -- that sounds to me like the movies metaphore for freeing minds of those who are not ready to be freed, and the unwillingness to accept the real world over the matrix.
It is only with the context of the whole book that the chapters that you mentioned seem to become especially intruging. However, what I find most interesting in relation to the movie, is the small segment on religion and iconalists.
But that is my own interpretations of a sociology study, so much can be debated and nothing agreed or concluded. 😛
there was not one original idea in the movie. as a matter of fact several movies came out in the 80's with same plot. but the story was told bettr. that's why it was good in m1 and m2. m3 was not told the same. Even my wife noticed that the movie was not needed as a trilogy. and she is not a sci-fi fan, but just a movie fan. As if the studio pressured the bros into stretching out a trilogy. when one sequel would have done.
Heh, your stubborn jedi.
Look i'll tell you what go to the site for ebert and roeper check you favorite search engine if you dont know the site. These are the "thumbs up" guys. Now you will notice that they have given two thumbs up to matrix revolutions but for all the wrong reason's. Click on the audio link and listen to what they have to say about the film and you will see that they also make some points about the movie and why they could have disliked it.
Some of those reason are the same reasons I did not like it and to top it off the reasons they liked it I do not agree with.
Look at my previous post and you will come acroos some where i say exactly what i did not like about the movie and you will also see that I did not dislike the entire movie.
I dont like talking to ppl who are like a brick wall.... I guess i share that with you. Im not gonna try and break you down either your next post is a bit more friendly and at least makes me think you searched out some good post about why ppl disliked revolutions or our conversation is over.
